Is that a joke? lol
There wouldn't be any in stock in the whole country if it did.
Wii remotes are about £30-£40 arn't they?

My bad there not that much, but I think theres still no chance of it including a remote.

Ahrgh - I see the (potential) problem, though -- doesn't work with wii jackets!

Thank you! Reserved mine. Son got a wii for christmas so i need to get him some cheap games now. Anyone know where i can get a cheap wii fit board from? Merry chrismas to you all and wish you all a prosperous new year!

We got one when posted before and they do a great job.
As for potential problem (doesn't work with wii jackets) we solved that by taking them off to charge and when charged putting them back on again. Only takes a few seconds with practice.

Cheers, think I can manage that. Does this come with its own batteries, too?? Great deal, actually

Really good price, bought mine today thanks :-)

Just opened mine up - good point: charges off one of the usb pets on the wii. Bad point: the wii needs to be in standby mode for the remotes to charge

But, looks like a good bit of kit.

Thanks for the update on how it works
Gonna get mine soon, figured my local Argos wasn't open yesterday and guessing today will be Bank Hol times......

Bumped - cos of the cheeky scamps who keep reposting

Posted a few times now PLEASE NOTE you need to remove the wii jackets to charge the controllers!!! its cheap for a reason its rubbish!! The energizer wii remote charger is more expensive but its spot on & wont end up chucked in the bottom of a draw like this one trust me.

Personally I'd rather use a pair of USB rechargable batteries. This is still a pretty good deal.

Thanks! Hot deal.
Picked up mine yesterday and did not have to buy a game to buy at this price as it states on the website.

How is removing the jacket a problem? Takes less than a few seconds. I don't get that at all. Mine is next to the Wii where i need it......

How do you put the Wii console into standby mode, ours only seems to be on/off? (ps. we don't have a wireless network in the house).

Mine is either on (green light) or off (amber light). I think that is what is meant by standby?
Just looked online.....

the power button on the wiimote puts the wii on standby (orange) while pressing the power button on the wii shuts down the wii (red). activating connect24 allows the wii to access information while in standby mode.

Got one of these for my dad for Christmas.
The idea of charging with the Motion Plus on is nice but in reality it's too much work to get the jacket off so he just unplugs the Motion Plus and charges it without. Still, the charger works and it's cheap so heat from me.

Just reserved mine at argos, great buy, thanks for the hot deal xx

I might be wrong but before I connected my Wii to the web, pressing the power button turned the LED from green to redand in standby mode. Now, connected to the web, it turns orange to show that it is connected to the web and in standby mode.

Reserved, thanks OP.

Surely (don't call me Shirley! X)) most people have re-chargeable batteries that only require partial removal of the jacket to replace them. Why buy a piece of kit that is going to be more difficult to use than simply buying batteries, will take up space, full jacket removal, can't use Wii while charging, might be slow to charge.... need I go on? Cold from me.

When the Wii is ON (Green)
Pressing the power button on the wii turns it to standby (orange)
Pressing the power button on the wii and holding it turns it Off (Red)

You have to cycle back through green to get from Standby to OFF..

Wii Remote chargers are great when you use the wii regularly, but if you switch it off and don't play for a month or two, then rechargebale Batteries jump back to the fore

(_;)

bought yesterday. for a fiver this is awesome! takes about 2 hours for a full charge and includes all you need to convert to battery packs, usb is more convenient and better energy use than running off mains anyway. hot from me

brought this yesterday, works really well for the price. You can also plug it into the usb ports on the back of a sky or virgin box. Saves leaving the wii on to charge the pads.

I got this yesterday as it was posted on here then .

Thanks - that is great tip! I wonder what other things you could plug this in to...

Just picked up 2 at the Mold Branch (they had 15 left)...bargain.

Just what I need, thanks

brilliant deal, ordered thanks!!!

Cheers

There does not seem to be a way of putting our Wii into standby mode without connecting it to the internet and changing the settings, correct? To do this you would need a wireless connection (we don't have one), or you need to buy a Wii lan adaptor (more expense). So I think mine is going back to Argos, as I don't want to leave the console on all night.

I have a wireless connection so might not be able to help but........when the console is on, green light and you turn the wii off by pressing the power button on the wii controller not the wii itself AND then connect the charger up with the wii controller in there, does the charging unit work? ie does it glow blue to show charging?
Btw, as for leaving it on all night, when i 1st charged the battery it took around 2 hours. Could you not do this during the day?

Just tried this and still no. Thanks anyway. I don't want to leave the console switched on, using full power, just to charge up the controller. The Wii lan adapters are about £15 more to buy and I can't see me having much use for it, other than being able to charge up the controller after the change in settings to the console?

Well, just tried summat else based on a few posts ago about connecting to Sky/Virgin box. It'll actually charge from your pc, well mine does lol.
Have connected the unit to my usb (non-powered) hub and it's all nice and blue glowing, charging up.......sorry if i can't help anymore
