to be fair i would buy one of these even if i wasnt planning on buying sports resort or tiger woods or whatever. i recon most of the games they will release in the future will require this.

The Hut's site doesn't seem to update very quickly to changes in stock, so an item may be in stock when an OP finds an item, but not long after they appear on HUKD there'll be many more buyers running the stock out.

The Hut isn't known for keeping a large amount of stock in for most if not all items, and they usually sell out their real stock in a matter of minutes, continuing to take orders for a while before their stock levels update on site.

Although these will be easier to get hold of than say Wii Fit was after that came out, getting these at £15 or so is pretty good.

Supply and Demand (and a sprinkling of Greed) has made Game/Gamestation up their in-store prices of Wii Sports Resort (£42.99)/Wii Motion Plus (£24.99). Gamestation will rather *generously* take £5 off additional Wii Motion Plus when bought with Wii Sports Resort. Generous since that means they end up being RRP again.

Also, you're going to need one for each Wii remote you have, so getting them while they're cheap(er) is always handy. More and more games will support/require it going forward.

ordered two after trying to buy them from tescos this morning to find they had sold out.
Thanks.

I've had one of these for a couple of weeks now, and they're worth every penny imho. The Wii has been used more in the last few weeks than it has all year. The 1:1 motion mapping is very impressive - What the Wii should have ideally offered from day one.

I've just ordered a second from Dixons. Cheers OP.

well no, you wouldnt have any of them because aside from the 3 you can get the motionplus bundled with, only VT2009 has been released yet....

great deal, was looking at the hut one but after seeing the comments will go for this

I imagine the technology for this was a lot more expensive then. What's nice is that you can spend a relatively small amount on upgrading the console now, rather than throwing it in the bin and having to buy a new one.

Cheers OP for this.

£17.96 now.

I hate companies like this, raising their prices because of demand. Over RRP. Dixon's are on my list now, I shall not buy from them in future.

Look at it another way: they could be lowering their prices due to lack of demand.

that would be awful

still, over rrp is a joke

dixons suck.

Why, what is the RRP? I thought it was £20+. I know Game were selling them for £22 (and had sold out). Better take dixons off your list

RRP on this product is £14.99; $19.99

All these companies are just trying to milk people unfairly

I'm going to pick two up in the states next month from Walmart, where they are their RRP at $19.99

I thought the RRP was £24.99?!

Mine turned up yesterday morning, so thanks again OP.

No, it's £14.99!

Amazon, Play, Tesco, WH Smith, GameStation etc all show it as having an rrp of £24.99.

they're all lying through their teeth
