Manufacturer's Description
The Wii Remote Plus, is an updated Wii Remote with built-in Wii MotionPlus hardware, which gives players an incredible level of precision and gameplay accuracy without the need of additional add-ons.
Available in four colours - white, black, pink and blue, the Wii Remote Plus has the same physical dimensions of the standard Wii Remote and all compatible peripherals can be plugged into the base of the Wii Remote Plus as before, such as the Nunchuk or Classic Controller.

Functioning in exactly the same way as the Wii Remote with Wii Motion Plus connected together, the Wii Remote Plus enables players to see every twist of the wrist or arm, brought to life and faithfully replicated on the TV screen with the use of one, compact controller.

Players of games such Wii Sports Resort and FlingSmash will be able to take full advantage of the enhanced accuracy and realistic motion control which the Wii Remote Plus offers, as every swing of a golf club or fling of Zip is reflected in real time on screen.

why is this being voted cold? i've been looking for Wii Remote+ deals for the last four days and at the moment you can't get anything under £30 unless you go third party or older (non-plus) version.
If you don't mind the blue, this really isn't bad - especially for anyone who got a wii for christmas and needs a second controller now

I'm pretty sure you can get these off the shelf in most big supermarkets for 2 or 3 quid less.

EDIT - SEE COMMENTS BELOW - I AM INCORRECT, my comments relate to the old style controllers OOPS

Also, you can get Wii Play for £30 or less, which has a controller & a game, granted the game isn't very good, but another one for the collection, or sell on at the usual places.

check this out:- although not in stock A.T.M. this is a pretty standard deal, so be patient.

Another linky

I'd say this is the going rate so no vote from me, it's not cold but neither is it hot.
Hope this helps & good luck. I went through all this about this time last year when santa brought me a Wii. Hurray !

Final comment; I'd concur with the intent to buy a genuine one, there are very mixed reports about the non OEM controllers, some say no difference and some say terrible, so on the basis of lack of consistency (and my luck with receiving faulty stuff) I'd say stick to OEM.

They've just price-matched The Hut who have been selling the blue version for £29.93 for a week or so.

Certainly not! The controller with Wii Play does NOT have motion plus (which is approx £15 extra).

This is the new style controller with built-in motion plus. If you want a deal with it, look for the Flingsmash game on offer as it's bundled with the new style controller and was available for £34 on Amazon for quite a while (game reviews not good though).

I stand corrected - thanks for clarifying that.

I really must keep up with the times.

I expect the cold votes are from people who thought like me.
I have now voted... HOT

Hot deal, but I have to say I'm disappointed with Motion Plus support. I expected all the more recent games to support it but they don't. GoldenEye hasn't got it for example. Admittedly it's a great game and feels responsive without the Motion Plus support, but when you spend even more money on Wii controller accessories, you kind of expect them to be supported. Between a Wiimote, Nunchuk and Motion Plus it's getting on for £60 for a controller (before these new controllers came out), and it's a bit galling when they're not supported on the latest and greatest games. Ever since the Motion Plus came out, support should have been included in just about every non-shovelware game.

The motion plus has been out for over a year now, and the games using it are minimal.

Don't pay extra unless you need to have it.

I have two bowling games, wii sport and sports resort ( I think) one uses motion plus and the other doesn't. I'm afraid I cant tell the difference between them, but last year I HAD to have the motion plus so I could "2 player" the one that uses the sensor, which ever one that is. ( I needed another sensor for the second remote because at the time the motion plus game with the sports resort game)

Anyway, you see the point.... oO

Worth it for Tiger Woods, Grand Slam Tennis and Red Steel 2.

Voted hot by me, just ordered one.

I'm slightly annoyed that my deal for under £30 was also being voted cold. You can't win.
But even so, this Remote plus might be the answer to my problems (lol wireless nunchuk :3)

Excellent deal - just ordered 2 of them and triple points via nectar.

I'd been looking at them on The Hut/Zavvi etc. and decided to get them from Zavvi (29.95 ea) + 50p book as a filler item and used the MERRY6MAS code (£6 off £60) so it worked out to £54.40 total (with book, £53.90 forgetting it), so effective cost approx. £26.95 each before TopCashBack).

If anyone is looking for 2 x blue Wii remotes and uses Quidco/TCB rather than Nectar, the filler item I used is here (but there's loads of half-decent CDs for £1.85 - £2.00): zavvi.com/boo…tml
