Found 4th May 2013
I went in to my local store (Caerphilly) yesterday and bought two @ £5.99 each, 5 minutes later went round the corner to game and sold them for £13.50 each cash or they offer £18.50 trade in value. Also it's not listed but I went back today and they have the Xbox 360 ones for £5.99 too which Is the one I wanted as I don't have a Wii. Game will give you £9.30 cash for the Xbox 360 ones.

Wouldn't mind an xbox one at that price. If only it was online...

Six quid for a midi keyboard is a bargain, even without the Rockband 3 feature!

Can you use it without the Rockband 3 disc ?

The only way you can use it without rock band 3 is as a midi keyboard but you would need the correct cable to hook it up to PC.

By the time you've paid tax on the profit it's not really worth making a special trip.

I bought one a while back but I can't get it to work as a midi keyboard.. Can any one advise??

I paid £11.98 in total and they gave me £27 for a walk around the corner which after tax is £21.60 so a profit of £9.62.
not bad considering i was going to both places anyway so cost me no extra.

I make it a post tax profit of £12.02 (assuming you are a basic rate taxpayer, your trading profit is below the NI threshold, and your trading level is so low that you are able to opt not to pay class 2 NI contributions).

Maybe it is worth making a special trip after all...

Went back to game today to trade in the spare xbox one I bought as I only needed the one, and the manager who was there point blank refused to trade it even though he never even looked it up on their computer. When I said the website gives a cash value of £9.30 he just replied with "not in this store".

Funny this was when I was there the day before the girl who took the two wii ones off me said they had never seen them before, as I had asked if they had an xbox one I could trade for.

It says on the game website they sell pre owned for £27.99 but out of stock, so I can only think the manager was being a dick as they obviously don't have any so why not buy them in.

any one had any luck finding these in the west Midlands?

This should come with the disc.

This is the keyboard only as it is for people who only bought the game. My guitar, mic and drums were bought with the first rock band but the keyboard was released for the third game only.

Ah ok perhaps they released two different versions. Keyboard only. And keyboard with game.

My local Tesco (Risca) has some of the Rock Band 3 guitars for £6.99

Were they the standard guitars, and what console did they do.

I use a wireless guitar hero 4 on my xbox and also have the original wired rock band guitar and guitar hero drums but Risca ain't too far from me (Bedwas), I could take a trip.

try googling keytar midi connector, install then open it whenever you want to use the keytar

Anyone eager to take advantage of this, there are five Wii Rockband 3 keyboards in Home Bargains in Inverness....

When I got the keyboard I did think you could just plug and play with any PC :-(
