The ideal bundle for all the family in the shape of the Wii Party U Basic Pack, comprising of a white Wii U console with 8GB** of storage, white Wii U GamePad and Wii Remote Plus controller, Sensor Bar, and disc versions of party starters Wii Party U. In Wii Party U, enjoy a vast array of games for friends and family to get stuck into, from quick-fire, pick up and play Minigames to House Party games which require players to use the Wii U GamePad and Wii Remote Plus controller while also interacting with each other away from the TV. In addition, games in GamePad Party mode put the focus squarely on the Wii U GamePad screen, with the likes of 'Tabletop Football' and 'Mii-in-a-Row' pitting two players against each other in skill and strategy challenges. Throw into the mix more conventional board game and quiz-style activities, and Wii Party U offers seemingly endless ways to compete and have fun with friends!

heat for having the balls to post the Rakuten code again

I got this from Rakuten, 10% cashback from quidco. The games that come with it are not actually all that great. Quite a few of the mini games do not let you use the big controller so they turn out to be 1 player only unless you buy another controller!

I also bought Mario Kart 8 and ZombieU at the same time which are really good!

I would recommend the better Wii U Premium Console.
It's worth the extra money.

You can't get much with 32 MBs nowadays.

Is it? I was going to get a premium with MK8 but needed a Wiimote for the kids which is another £30, so £260ish.

So i bought the basic deal (which includes a Wiimote), a nunchuck and just dance kids for under £180. That still leaves plenty in the pot for MK8 and change.

As far as i can tell I'll be missing out on a charging stand, 24GB storage space and a difference in colour. Much better deal in my opinion.

The difference is only in colour and storage size everything else is the same.

If you're fine with the White Wii U then that's all right.

Don't think you get the sensor bar with basic?

Darren.

Was looking for ages for a decently priced Wii U bundle, saw this and finally caved... Heat added!

You definitely get a sensor bar in this bundle with Wii U Party.

There's also this that the premium has over the basic:
Subscription to the Nintendo Network Premium which gives you points back for digital purchases. This was useful in the early days but is becoming less and less useful as the expiration date of 31/12/14 gets closer with no updates from Nintendo about this programme. Essentially, you get 8 points for every £1 spent (it even worked for the free downloads during the Mario Kart 8 promo) and you can make a claim when you get 500 points (equals £5) p.nintendo.net/

I only ever bought an Ambassador Game for 30p and since then nothing but I do plan on getting the MK8 Bundle which is £11.99 so I might still get it if I bother to buy it before 2015.

The only reason I would prefer the premium is because its black.
