From personal experience, WOW HD has been fine. Received 2 copies of Rayman Legends Wii U on release day so no complaints from me.

Heads up. Don't expect to see Watchdogs this year... Ubisoft's next-generation open-world game Watch Dogs has been delayed to spring 2014. The game was previously scheduled to launch in November for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, and Wii U.

Just because it isn't out for 6 months doesn't mean you can't preorder it now at a good price

I ain't never had a problem with wow hd/cd wow either, but they do ship from Hong Kong.

Hong Kong? Really? OK never knew that.

I think Ubi wised up and realised that with Saints Row, GTA, and their own Assassins Creed 4 all being released within a few months of each other the sales of either Watchdogs or AC4 would suffer, so they changed dates, and as for the Crew with the release of Forza 5, GT6, NFS: Rivals and driveclub, all due this next couple of months, another racing game would be overkill and the title to get forgotten would be one title not well known or associated with a console release.

Saw a comment about Wow hd shipping from Hong Kong and getting customs charges, any truth in this?

ordered a few times from wowhd. . games land on release and no custom charges. top retailer

I pre-ordered a PS4 with Watch Dogs and Fifa 14 from Shopto. I wonder … I pre-ordered a PS4 with Watch Dogs and Fifa 14 from Shopto. I wonder what will they offer instead... I've noticed they've now taken the bundle off their site too.

I also have the same bundle ordered and waiting to hear back from them with what will be offered instead. Also, the bundle was removed from their site before the announcement of watch dogs release being delayed. I asked them about this and they said their allocation of that bundle had now sold out.

The big issue is that there are quite a few bundles with watch dogs included and it will be interesting to see what the various retailers will do.

Did your items ship from HK?

Yeah they ship form HK, and a few years ago Irish customs had them flagged to always check the contents.
I've been charged customs on games from wow about 5 times out of the hundred times I've ordered from them.

It's something to keep in mind, even if it's rare.
Like I wouldn't go ordering something over 60 or 70 pounds or anything.
Note I recently ordered 2 other wii u games from them and wasn't charged anything so they must have stopped flagging them or something.

thought i would mention watch dogs has been delayed till spring 2014

Good price for Donkey Kong but their site states it's due for release next month when it has actually been put back to Marsh (ish) next year.

If you pre-order do they take payment now or when they ship?

And also - why do they offer postage insurance? Surely if I don't take that option and nothing turns up it's not my problem?

wanting some places to to price match this

I thought you do not pay custom taxes for goods under 150 in the EU ??

I had Lego City Undercover ship from HK, was hit with £11 custom charges, £3 import duty, £8 from the Post Office handling fee. For this reason I won't risk ordering from this retailer again as there is no way of knowing where the item will ship from.

Well HK isn't in the EU, and going by my experience with ordering things from America, once the cost reaches £50+ (not sure exactly how much), you get customs charges

Apparantly Amazon are going to be honest and still send out as many ps4 units as possible, but when it cones to the watchdog bundle, you can either swap it for another bundle (Killzone Etc.) or you can still get the ps4 and then watchdogs in april. I'd try to get in contact with then just in case

Shame Flubit isn't as great as it was 4 months ago, otherwise I would be able to pre-order them all at a great price from UK retailers

22 or 15 euro, and if it's a gift up to somewhere around 150, but that might have changed I don't know.
This is Ireland btw, not sure about UK/rest of EU.

I tried to remember that, I get the feeling they took money for my pikmin 3 pre-order but I can't really remember, and it was only like 2 days before release when I bought it from them.

Ii meant t to say: I believe when importing goods in Europe, you're not supposed to be paying custom taxes when the value is under 150 euros..

Here's a quote from somewhere, don't know if it's accurate:

Since December 1st 2008 EU citizens ordering from countries outside the EU do not have to pay customs duty for goods worth less than 150 EUR. But they still have to pay VAT.
However this does not apply to all goods. For some goods like tobacco, perfume, alcohol the 150 EUR excemption does not apply.
The limit for travelers arriving in the EU has also been raised to 430 EUR.

Oh I see. I'm not sure about that then, because I was charged customs twice for orders under £100
