Looks good - but do you ever sleep oUkTuRkEyIII?!

Great system and different to the others.

ordered cheers cracking deal

Should point out that the wii sports mad wii karaoke are on every wii u, not exclusive to this one

Ordered the bundle from Play the other day and i can honestly say its amazing (bought for my little one for christmas)

I'll get my own one when they bundle either the new super smash bros or the new Zelda wii u game

Heat added!

Is this online only?

Wii Sports isn't

Really good deal.

Also the re-vamped bowling (£8.99 seperately) is really good if you enjoyed the original.

Wii Sports isn't

Lol yes it is

I turned on my WII U and it was just there with the sign...'you have new software'

Everybody gets Wii Sports.....Everybody gets a free trial, the only thing I think you mean is this package gets those games unlocked for free?

But I am not sure it means that as it is not clear

Good offer for those that missed the ShopTo deal. Thankfully I didn't. Heat added.

Yeah this needs confirmation - I just got the M&L bundle and it came with the 30 day karaoke trial and everyone gets 24 hours of free Wii Sports Club. If this bundle doesn't have the Sports stuff permanently unlocked somehow then it's a bit disingenuous, because that means this is simply the M&L bundle.

So is this just the same as all the Mario and Luigi Premium Packs then or does it actually have anything extra with it?

GAME sell both Wii Sports Club Tennis and Bowling as a download code for £8.99 each on their website, so I assume this deal is essentially the same as the Play/ShopTo one except they're making you buy both codes as well

is the wii sports game different to the wii sports on the original Wii?

No it isn't. A free trial isn't quite the same is it. This is the full games that have a retail price of £8.99 each. Look at the picture on the game.co.uk deals page and it clearly shows an image of the two download cards

No need to get defensive, I was not saying you are wrong, I was merely saying everybody gets wii sports (free or not)

moving on

This is the picture I see when pressing the link, where is yours from?

EDIT... I see your picture on the deals page, perhaps a MOD or OP should link to that then, as if you use the 'get deal' button is it not clear at all that you get those 2 extra games for free

I'm not getting defensive - I was just as clearly and concisely as possible telling you that you were wrong. Also the free trial is a one day pass - so its completely misleading to say everybody gets it. Everyone can go and test drive a car - its obviously pretty different to actually owning it

where can I get scribblenauts unmasked for the cheapest price possible thanks. . im thinking of buying wiiu for my son with scribblenauts.

£31 on shopto seems good...

how old is your son as this game has a lot of writing in it, not sure you are aware of that, as that is why it only appears on PC and Wii U

also are you sure it is a Wii U he wants and not a PS4 or Xbone? I watched a Cnet video and they said the WiiU was the fourth worst present this year to give to your children as all they really want is a PS4 or Xbone

so you best just check

Google 'game comparison' and look there. Also, consider getting him Mario 3D World
Now we know the sports are included and not just a trial, this deal seems good to me!

Just be aware (though I have not played it) according to a lot of people on Neo-Gaf the Tennis is largely unplayable online due to lag

It does lag, but I wouldn't call it unplayable. It feels more like it's impacting on the framerate, something you can adjust to. I've only played a couple of games online during the free trial though.

This image suggests you get the download codes to permanently download Tennis and Bowling to your console.

Yeahhhh, I don't think you're meant to take that list seriously... literally. It's just a list someone made up on personal opinion. There's a list ... god can't remember who compiled it now... and the Wii U was one of the most asked for presents... actually based on collected data.

I tried Wii Sports online ... seemed fine for me.

If comes with the DL cards as posted above, that's a good deal. Anyone who doesn't want them can sell them to me

I have a 5 and 3 year old and im thinking of getting this for christmas instead of the two nexus 7`s thanks op for this idea!

It's getting harder and harder to resist with each deal

Had the Zombi U bundle on pre-order but had to cancel since my phone packed up and the new one happened to cost the same and I had a degree to be working on. Now when I have plenty of time for a new console I have a laptop on it's way out and also need to be saving cash for moving out.
Can't remember the last time I was this patient and controlled about anything, though the second I have a (full-time) job and house sorted Wii U will be getting bought along with all the games I've missed so far.

argggghhhh I don't know wether to get this or to hold out for another £200 deal - I think this is hot if you want the sports games and I am very very tempted but I am not sure my kids would want to play those. I take they are pretty similar to the original Wii Sports ones (which we have).

Yeah, slightly updated HD graphics, all sports now use motion plus and you can play them online - you register as a member for the sports club in your region... ie, west London club.

Thanks for the info, just trying to keep the price down as much as possible. We have loads of Wii games (knackered Wii) but also need to buy another controller & nunchuck plus son really really wants the Lego City game plus the new Marvel one. I shall be patient and hold out a little while longer and be jealous of all of you who have yours already.

Aye Lego City is fantastic.. everyone should play it. You'd get somewhere between £10-£15 for the Wii Sports download code cards on eBay I reckon.

I would say you would get from £5-£10 as they only cost 8.99 normal price, just putting that out there

Is this available in store or just online?

? £15 is £4 cheaper than buying from the eShop, and you're getting the physical eShop cards here to boot. £15 is pretty realistic I'd think.

So is this instore today as well. Can I take my old wii in and get the £50 credit deal and get this for 169.99? I know they say in store prices may vary but this is a tv deal so surely it will be the same won't it? Anyone know?

I really doubt that; the trade in deal only applies to certain bundles (this isn't one of them) and can't be used in conjunction with other offers (which this is). You are however right about the TV deal being valid in store.
Edited by: "parpirate" 14th Nov 2013

It says in the trade-in fine print that it can be used for Mario and Luigi pack. I thought this was it. But I take your point about 2 offers.

No that's the bundle with just Mario and Lugi, this bundle also has Wii Sports Bowling and Tennis.

I 'm looking at the trade in fine print now and it specifically says get it for 199.99 so I don't know what I was thinking. Time for a walk and a coffee I think.
