But it's not a deal, it's RRP.

Ignore the idiotic RRP haters, a great selection there.

been waiting for this price for donkey kong. heat added!

I hate the selects box art l, ugly as hell but price is good.

Resorting to insults? mature.

It is a great selection. I'm also pretty sure there is a thread in misc where you can talk about how great it is.

If someone posted a big mac at RRP later today it would go cold so why is this any different? The real deal will come when retailers start dropping the price just before launch like base and 365 games did with the 3DS titles.

So, if a £35 game is available for £25 it would be a great deal, yet the same game gets a budget version at £20 then that's not a good deal?

It's like when the original Pokemon games appeared on eShop - they were set at £8.99 'RRP' so got a load of cold votes, but if they'd been £17.99 with 50% off they'd have been lauded as a great deal.

A good deal should be determined by if something is worth the money being offered, not by giving a comparison to an artificially set price.

Are they download codes or with discs?

Such a bad news for me. I just bought New Super Mario Bros. U, The Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker HD, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, either brand new or 2nd hand for a lot more than £20 each. Ebay sellers do not take returns.

Super Mario 3D World Select is $20 in the US. Really hope we have it in the UK.

I think games on other consoles drop rather quick so they can be classed as a deal. These Wii U games are 3 years old. Big whoopt if they have been reduced to £20.

Apparently The Last Of Us is one of the best games ever made and the developers had no problem dropping the price on that. I don't see how Nintendo keeping prices high and then dropping them to a reasonable price 3 years later is something to get chuffed about but whatever floats your boat I guess.

Are the games going to be exactly the same as current versions which selling a lot more expensively?

Is it correct that only the boxes are different from current version?

I made pre-orders.

Do I need to pay now or by a certain date?

Food goes cold, games do not. And Big Mac's though tasty, are bad for you, Zelda Wind Waker HD is good for you.

I see you've made the mistake of posting an RRP deal while not working for hotukdeals or being a vip

Very nice deal. These may be the new RRPs, but I was unaware of these re-releases until your post. Cheapest available prices for now. Thanks a lot.

I knew the line up 1 day and 16 hours ago, I put it in Misc, purely because it's not a deal, it's a heads up. See the difference?

It's not about working for HUKD, or being a VIP. It's about knowing what a deal is and knowing what a heads up is.

That doesn't even make any sense.

I find the 'Selects' line that Nintendo does usually goes down in price very quickly. These will likely be about £13 each shortly after release.

This is taken from the HUKD help section

'Deals can be any product or service people can buy for a bargain, including two-for-one sales, reduced prices, and clear out sales.'

It doesn't say that new low RRP's can't or shouldn't be posted. If these sell out fast, this will have proven to be a very good deal.

I'll give this heat... so many misconceptions surrounding the word "deal".

Look deal up in the dictionary.

It is a deal so deal with it people.

GREAT DEAL - RRP or not this is a great price and currently the cheapest for these titles, I've no en waiting for the release of these Nintendo selects games so its also a great heads up, plus ShopTo give me 5% off every title at the moment on my account so extra bonus for me

just been on the shopto... prices have dropped to £18.99 each. Should quiet down the haters.

This will be the standard price but still voted hot because most of these games are hard to buy for less than £30 at the moment. Personally I'm going to hang off and see if they go cheaper or go on a multi-buy offer (2 for £30) once they've been out for a few months.

this isn't a deal its there new permanent RRP. cold

It's cheaper than what they are at the moment, would've ordered DKTF but holding off now because of this post. TYVM op. Heat

An entirely accurate observation. Am sure there is nothing personal here against HUKD shareholder posters or VIP status members, but this is entirely accurate and spot on. Great observation that can't be argued as this is just how it is. To quote Stephie Mulhern on Catchphrase "say what you see", and many of us are seeing this.

It has to be either RRP deal posts are fine or they aren't. One or the other. And if its the status quo of RRP deal posts are allowed, then it has to be anyone can do them, not just a select few. Really simple. Remove contradiction and double standards, and you have clarity.

I entirely agree with you Buzz, it should be in Misc. But when "helpers" (shareholders?) and "VIPs" post exactly the same type of thing no one says anything. So okay no one is breaking any rules here and no posts are being removed, but its the looking down on someone, with the wagging fingers when its a normal status member making the deal post, that is leading to all these comments. It is just wrong.

oUkTuRkEyIII

That doesn't even make any sense.

He is pointing out that mod type posters, and official helpers can post similar threads of RRP prices and thats okay apparently, so as such is highlighting the double standards. Makes perfect sense really if you think about it like that, and is presumably why a number of us have liked that particular comment.

Good to see Lego City Undercover, that has been fetching silly money prices second hand...I recall a couple of years ago posting a deal at CEX for it for £20 and people in the thread were whinging then over that low price.....I have not seen it that low since, and currently £32.

Agreed it is nice to see that one re-released, I was also pleasently suprised to see New Super Luigi U make the list too.

Only just read it is to be the double pack (on one disc) Super Mario/Luigi U...damn that is great in a way...takes away the exclusivity of it only formally being available in the Wii U bundle which I have, but once again stops silly money being charged for it.

All over this!

website so slow, trying to purchase Donkey Kong, just spent 10 minute making account

I originally read that Super Luigi U and New Super Mario Bros. were going to be separate titles. Its nice to see them together. Shame 3D World didn't make the cut.

I can still see the original version remaining desirable without the red 'selects' artwork on the front though.

Gave up buying it, website way to slow, still want me to make account, Total BS
