Play Asia are currently selling pro controllers on offer for $28 (approx. £16.50). Also need to pay for shipping which was $23 (approx. £13.50) for me, though I don't know whether it'll be the same price for all UK addresses but seems safe to assume it will be.

Obviously it'll work out cheaper if you order more than one controller as you'll only pay for shipping once. I got two controllers for under £45 which is great considering they're £40 on amazon at the moment!!!

I think there's a limit of 2 controllers per customer but I've heard that it will let you get 2 black and 2 white controllers so it's worth a go if you're looking for more.

It's the Japanese controller but it's region free, I've ordered a couple which just arrived and they work completely fine. I also have an EU controller that I got from Amazon last year and the only difference is that the box and label on the back are in Japanese.

Good luck with that. As the limit for importing stuff is £15 before incurring a charge, should your parcel be checked by customs, you'll be hit with an £8 Royal Mail handling fee + 3-5 quid ontop of that. So you could end up paying near enough £45 after customs fees for the controller lol.

Cheaper at nippon-yasan if you just want one. I got one last week and it worked out at about £21 with the cheapest shipping. They marked it as a gift and at €10 so no customs to pay either

Once i proceed to checkout for two controllers it doesnt seem to have any shipping cost. Can anyone clarify this?

Cold. They were $25 a few days ago which was dangerously near £15 (if the exchange rate swinged a bit by the time it arrived, bam customs and Royal Mail handling crap) but $23 shipping on-top? Ouch.

I did the same, and got a white one (which seem quite rare over here now!) for £20.54! Cheapest shipping method said 2-3 weeks no tracking available.

Mine took about 8 days to get here. I buy quite a lot from them and always use unregistered SAL. My stuff has always arrived much sooner than expected.

Thanks for the heads up. Gotta say I had no idea that this was a possibility.

ordered a white one a few weeks ago and it came through fine - about 7 days turnaround

How likely is this to happen? I ordered mine from Play Asia and it was shipped out on Monday.

Why is this getting voted cold? I'm really needing one but was a bit skeptical of Play Asia

Read the comments maybe? Then you would understand that $28 is more than £15. The shipping in the OP example (don't know the actual play-asia shipping cost or paying for a faster/tracked method) is too expensive as well.

As a result nippon-yasan with their cheapest shipping is a cheaper alternative and less likely to have you paying the ridiculous £8 Royal Mail handling fee.

I'd love to borrow your time machine and go back a few days to buy one when they were £15. This is £1.50 more and actually available unlike what you're referencing to.

I'd just like to let everyone know I just got my controller from Play Asia, it was shipped on Monday so it only took 3 days which I'm really happy with. I paid £26 in total using their cheapest delivery method.

Well done for failing to understand the significance of £15. I did suggest you should learn to read comments so read this one.

None at all, it's a completely legit Nintendo product. The only difference between the EU one and the JAP one is the sticker on the back is written in Japanese. It took about 4 hours to charge and I played a good few hours of Mario Kart 8 with it and I didn't have a single issue.

I am trying to understand if you are being ignorant on purpose or not.

Customs have a lot of packages to go through, they can't read the labels on all of them and might skip smaller packages entirely. As a result it is a lottery weather your item is inspected or not. I personally don't think it is worth the risk but if you want to blow money, go ahead. Don't say I did not warn you.

Also 3 days sounds a lot like the speed from a courier (even if it is the "cheapest method" offered on this controller). These companies tend to deliver goods first but the customs paperwork does catch up eventually. Their handling fees are usually less than Royal Mail and you can argue out of paying for it (the tax you have to pay but the handling fee is not your problem under contract law you never signed the contract with them).

I still can not see how deal is better than ~£21 from Nippon-yasan aside from delivery speed.
