mvc were reckoning zombi u edition standard retail price is gonna be £330 anyway so i'll wait & see what else comes up before dishing out heat.
are the pro controllers not standard issue with the premium version then?

Looking on Gamestation, it is £350, so figured £330 was a little better, that combined with the potential Quidco and the Zombie U and Pro controller, thought some one might find this of interest, can always order and cancel.
man i need to do some reading up on this console...

According to the GS website, no and it costs £50 on its own + £50 for Zombie U, we all know this will change but for now.....

premium is as below for £299

Whats in the Box:
•Black 32GB Nintendo Wii U Console and AC Adapter
•Black 32GB Nintendo Wii U Game Pad and AC Adapter
•Nintendo Wii U Sensor Bar
•A copy of NintendoLand
•HDMI Cable
•Nintendo Premium

Boasting HD Graphics and an innovative controller, the Nintendo Wii U is about to change the way you play games!
I will probably buy one, but I think Nintendo are going to get themselves in all sorts of trouble here, the pro controller after just researching it is a "standard" controller what we are all accustomed to...

if Nintendo are so confident in their fancy controller why are they selling a standard controller, what does that tell!! if as I suspect games will be a bitch to play on that square controller
amazon have it at the same price.

Can't see that one and have been looking around, Play and Game/Gamestation are £350 for this version, if i can get get quidco making it near £300 I will be happy for this package.
better deal at shopto.net considering same price but get it earlier and you get points too
Why is Nintendoland not like PlayStation Home and on the 'Home Screen' as an option out of the box? Seems like a waste of plastic and disc for to load an application such as that on.

Just seen this too cheers, it is at £324.99, never used them before but know thay are decent. I will most likely keep my Teco one on for now and see how things pan out. cheers
think I just pre ordered it @ shopto, their new site is awful
with Amazon currently going £299 without ZombieU @ 21:21 hrs , I'll keep this order open
Wait for Morrisons to start pre orders. You heard it here first.
i think ill be buying this next months, i might wait a week or 2 to see lowest price available , looks good but i wonder how the controler will feel it looks long and flat , normaly controlers are round so u have something to hold onto, but a flat controler im guessing will be uncomfortable but i could be wrong

as I said, I think they know the controller is a weak point, hence the "pro controller"

It's not flat it has a sort of wing on the back like a tilt stand, it has the trigger buttons on it.

I think with the Pro controller they don't want to paint themselves into a corner like with the Wii's waggle to press a button problems. End of the day though, who's buying this for Black Ops 2? The first party games will all work well with the tablet, and that's why you buy a Nintendo machine. Isn't it?
It's worth adding that the 2 announced skus Are game-less these are retailer packages and will likely be cheaper come release.

The white 8GB console will be £199 and the Black 32GB will be £250 if todays press conference rumours are true.
A 8GB drive and a massive controller? Are was talking about the original Xbox?
Come on the controller is big but it's no "Duke"

Spill it!

I hope it will drop to this, but the only thing that said the Wii U was that price, was a radom tweet from a Gamestation in Redditch who hadn't tweeted in months(so me thinks it was a prank, but all the press jumped on it!), but here's keeping my fingers crossed, but it looks doubtfull as all the major retailers now have it on their sites for around the £300 mark for the Black one.

No, its for games like Black Ops 2 where the 2nd player can use the Pro controller, and the main player can play (and view their game as well in that particular game) on the tablet controller. It is a cost effective way to have multiple controllers, seeing as the console will support 5 players including the tablet.

this was the first deal I have posted in a long time on the site as I felt that people vote mainly on their opinions of the product rather than the deal itself.

I felt this was a good deal, I couldn't find better and I thought that was the point, giving people heads up on good prices etc, my quidco is tracking at £28 pound so this makes the bundle a pinch over £300, even without this, at the time of ordering it was the best deal from a solid retailer.

Anyways, rant over.

It was actually an Amazon leak. I won't buy at launch anyhow, I never do. As with usual Nintendo stuff it's been left to retailers to set pricing - which is why we're seeing unofficial bundle deals. And it'll stay that way until the furore dies down. I'd imagine they'll settle ate these prices or there abouts.

I ahve now cancelled my Tesco order in favour of The HUT, same pack is £300 and I had a 10% code making it £270 for the Zombie U version, that it a decent price for what you get I think.

Because in the survivors vs. zombies multiplayer mode one person (the zombi king) uses the Wii U controller and the other (survivor) uses the pro controller. If you watch the videos from the E3 presentation it's clear that the emphasis is on asymmetrical gameplay and that's why extra gamepads won't be available at launch but will become available when games are produced that utilise two.

Sorry mate but that's bollx. Maybe you can afford to spend hundreds of pounds on extra Wii U controllers for multiplayer games but for the rest of us a more affordable pro controller makes a lot of sense.

I thought 10% off codes didn't work for pre-orders???
What is the 10% off code?!
Slightly off topic, but just got a email from Tesco Entertainment that they are no longer selling eGift vouchers and vouchers in ewallets will expire on 8/10/12.

Previously bought some vouchers when they were doing the 15% discount thing (+ Quidco cashback). Already used most of it to buy a 3DS XL (using second 15% discount and Quidco), but still have £35 in ewallet. Was slightly miffed, but it would seem that they would transfer the balance onto your Clubcard, so would be able to take advantage of any Clubcard Exchange deals which is even better!

Hi all, it was a personal one otherwise I would have shared it.

Also for everyone's info, it has just been confirmed by Nintendo that the Zombie U package DOES NOT include Nintendo Land, this changes things quite a bit and I may even cancel my HUT pre order and go for the basic + Zombi U as an extra.
i heard this was a rumour via ONM.
tbh i would not rely on the text from tesco as they also have the exact same contents list for the wii u premium (not zombi back)
clearly someone has messed up the text on this so i would wait for them to sort it out and confirm it or you might end up very disappointed if you dont get your Pro controller
