Decent price even as a standard tablet, looks like it's going to bomb hard on here though.

You know what they are like mate, hard crowd.

If its not something they have heard of......cold.

Somewhat reminiscent of the kids in the playground wearing the Nike's (_;)

only 1GB of RAM caught my eye unfortunately
and only first 500 orders, so no guarantee you'll get at this price either

so might get chilly in here

I don't think many android games (if any) require more than 1gb of ram and 500 is a fairly large number for a niche tablet.

I'm just playing devil's advocate and suggesting reasons why it may get voted cold, even by people who know exactly what it is

This is a brilliant handheld games console.
It's a decent Android tablet too,
Emulation on it and joypad use when playing play store games too is so much better than using a touchscreen.
I can highly recommend the console.

I have a similar device from Hong Kong quad core 1 gig of ram not as good specs as this bad boy but my gpd g5a only cost £60 and plays the high end Android emulation like dreamcast no problem. I installed a custom rooted rom and could use tincore key mapper to bind the on screen controls to physical buttons. Must games detect the buttons tho and work automatically.

Would the JXD S7800B not be a 'more powerful' option. I appreciate, you cant remove the controls, just seems more bang for buck. Shame this Wikipad doesn't have a bit more clout, it would probably then be a rather special piece of kit!

I do like the fact it's removable, and the controls have a built in battery pack to.

I just bought one for my son's birthday and it came to £119.99 using the "onlive20" discount code from the Wikipad website...

I got one for £59.99 at tesco.
