Please be aware that you will receive NO customer service with WIKIPAD (Simply Games may be ok, I cant vouch for them), should you be so unfortunate enough to require it. My son's Wikipad overheated, and 2 months later we are STILL waiting for them to issue a warranty replacement. Every time it is "we are working on it" bla bla... They've now stopped responding to updates altogether.

Yes in NI! Pity

Just bought one of these the other day on gumtree for £45

Very good tablet for the price though...struggles a little bit with Dreamcast games but absolutely perfect for using as a ROM Machine for the SNES/Mega Drive era up to N64/PS1

Download Happy Chick on it and you're away

Only downside so far I've found with mine is that I can't get adb to pick it up on my pc so can't develop on it, but still working on that. Otherwise can't find a fault with it. Spec is okay for the price and the controls are feel nice. I was worried that the dpad would be awful as it doesn't look great but works fine, enjoyed playing Streets of Rage, Mario World etc on it

Nice price for this - heated
It works really well for games and emulators (the gamepad mapper works well for a lot of games) but network performance is not up to Remote Play / KinoConsole / Moonlight - too much input lag IMO.

Yes it does, but rather poorly, not the fastest tablet in the world, sold two galaxy tab 2 and bought 2 of these as replacements, good battery LIFE and far better than galaxy tab 2, controller is very well built and the hdmi out is a bonus, bargain for this price.

Great price, and not a bad little console!
even better once you've installed 'happy chick' .... 12 emulators and a massive library of games

Is it anything to do with Julian Assange?

Thanks for the happychick recommend, mshurst!

picked one up from ebuyer for 50 sheets..cant comment on quality because its been put aside for a birthday present..
not really interested in the controller just looking at the fact that its a quad core tablet for 50 bells..
bit of interweb and angry birds and kodi via hdmi whats not to like?
a steal @£40

Is Happy Chick available in playstore cos I can't see it.

Cheaper than ebuyer!
Pity the Wikipad is still on Jellybean - it's looking like the main app minimum compatibility points are:
Gingerbread (2.3)
ICS (4.0)
Kitkat (4.4)
And of course, Lollipop (5.x)

So Jellybean is in the same compatibility bracket as ICS - at the moment, it doesn't miss out on much, other than a few things (eg. latest Google Camera) that are Kitkat minimum - but that could get worse

Nice, cant resist. The controls look better than my archos gamepad I got for £50 here a while ago.

And I'm suddenly £40 lighter....

Yes, me too.

Gunna struggle, the JXD slows down running some titles n thats got more grunt than this.

Great price and if I don't like it I can use it as a Sat Nav so it's an amazing deal.

Thanks for this. On my shield tablet that Dreamcast games run really good and no need to hunt down ROMs with this installed

Yes they've thrown in a free ticket to the US via Sweden just don't expect Emirates style service on board.

Is anyone using this for streaming Steam games using Moonlight? Is it reliable doing so? Tempted to get this purely to use this way!

ordered one had to at this price bring on GTA

Was tempted at £50 on ebuyer now too good to resist. Anyone tried this with PS4 remote play?

Just ordered 3. For my son, nephew and my brother. Thanks OP
oh yeah heat added

Thanks OP, been looking at these for a while and £40 for a very capable emulator is a bargain. Hoping it's better than my Archos Gamepad which takes an age to boot and is underpowered.

Great price for an old school emulator machine. Also doubles as a decent tablet. Heat

Thanks for that. Yep I did check out the web-site before and it seems perfect. I have been using separate emulators.

Is there any reason though, why it isn't on the Play Store?

Can any tech - heads tell me if you can link 2 of these together to play multilayer PS1 games. If so, how?

Good price. We bought 2 for the kids when they were £50. Nice solid tablet. Great for emulation, especially with the controller.

Thanks op.... bought for my daughter

You could also use this as a Kodi + Genesis player. It's amazing what £40 will get you in the world of tech these days

Couldn't agree more. But we've become so used to it we often fall prey to lambasting decent tech because it's not as good as more expensive lines.
