Anyone want anymore info, here is the website for the tablet: wikipad.com/
Looks like its been out for a while. Not bad money for the spec, including GPS which many cheap tablets dont include.

And HDMI which many expensive tablets don't include.

This was released in the states for $249 and got great reviews at that price point

I was one of those that did a few orders and got nothing other than an apology from Tesco. I have ordered this though so thanks OP

Decent price but how well good is it to play with? I've got the Shield Portable but it's a a bit too big and heavy and the D pad requires too much effort to use.

Good Deal, was about 50 left when I ordered mine,

ordered thanks

Not bad HEAT!, has Scratch-resistant military-grade glass screen. oO

...and,
GPS.
Bluetooth.
Quad-core CPU.
16GB memory & SD card slot.

shame its only 7"

any android updates available for this?

Pretty good product and deal. I like how it can separate from the controller. I'd defo get this if I didnt already have every possible box ticked for tablets (I have about 8 in all - yes I am a fool).

Tempted but the reported poor battery life and speakers makes me think I'd probably regret not spending a bit more on a better tablet, albeit without the controller.

very tempted to get this for the lil one for Xmas.....its £74.99 on group on.......perfect size for little hands....should wait for Black Friday though....

sounds like a silly question, but I'm going to be silly anyway....does this actually come with the controller?....I believe it does....but if someone could be kind enough to confirm then that would be rather padtastic :0)

tegra 3 is getting on a bit now. but good price

Yes.

cheers for the confirmation Data :0)

curious here, can this run basic emulators like the SNES and Megadrive ones? If so, I'm SO sold on this.

More I had no idea if android could, I've never bothered looking into it before becauase the idea of playing Zelda and the like on a touch screen phone was horrible, this however...I'm sold.

yeah touch screen for games is terrible unless they were build from the ground up for it.

But yeah there's loads of emulators for loads of different consoles and old arcade machines

Most calculators can these days so you should be fine.

This is pretty much like the OUYA, it sounded great when it was originall announced but took too long to come to market, by the time it was released it was underpowered and too expensive, and doomed to fail.

Shame really it looked like it had more potential than the OUYA when originally announced.

says pre order ?

people dont seem to realise that nvidia tegra chipsets are so much better than the normal quad core variants out there.

Ordered but saying

More due in Wednesday at Ebuyer.

Apologies, links removed due to the seller currently being suspended from HUKD.

Mine came today, very pleased with it so far, I'm mostly going to use it as Steam Library streamer from my PC. But from what I've tried so far the performance and build quality seem very good.

Does it come pre-rooted? Having used a phone (briefly) that couldn't be rooted (at least not yet) I'd never want to use another unrootable device and I can't find anything on the web about doing it yourself.

How you can pre order if they cancel the order? Mine was cancelled and refunded too

No I did spot a root mod for it though on XDA, My ideas for using this as a Shield style device are on hold due to the fact that Limelight runs like a juddering snail with my current router which is strange as Steam Home Streaming seems to work fine on every device I've tried all over the house. But Nvidia's own implementation wants a 5Ghz Band Router.

Having a blast with Real Racing 3 and other native Android titles though. If anybody wants a Case for the tablet, you can find a Tesco own brand case in the larger stores at the moment originally sold for the Kindle Fire 7" and it fits perfectly and is only £2.80
