Try it (on yours)...

I've been doing it for 20 years. As long as it's just warm water out the tap and not boiling there's no issue at all.

Why not just fill an empty plastic milk bottle from the hot tap and pour it over the car windows?
Because this has a brush on the top of the bottle and as if you were ecleaning a carpet movement , you use it to clean your windscreen

If you just poured boiling water on your windscreen it could crack.

If you are too skint to afford £2.80, there is another method that involves filling a plastic bag with hot water, then sealing it. rubbing the bag over the screen and using a scraper.

Seriously, you just need to pour warm (not boiling) water on it. 4 pints is enough to do the whole car

My husband does this too and it works a treat. We have this carpet carpet cleaner for it’s intended purpose and I find when using it the liquid flows out too quickly
Just a jug of water from the tap will do it. Even the cold tap. No risk to the windscreen. Been doing this for years now....if only YouTube had been around when I first got my Hillman Avenger. We could have been vinyl roofed viral influencers

Do you shake it first, to turn the formula to foam? Lasts much longer!
The rrp on this is £3.50 I think and it's worth every penny as carpet cleaner, so £2.80 is a good price, however trying to advertise it as an ice clearer is asking for cold votes, change the title to what it actually is and this could get hot. Heat from me btw
I just fill the kettle with Luke warm water from the tap and walk round the car pouring it on my windows. Takes me less than a minute.
My 81yr old dad read about this in the Daily Fail and went out and bought one of these yesterday at full price
this is a good carpet cleaner defo recommend
Warmish water in milk bottle, tip on car, milk bottle in recycling bin - job done.

I use this carpet cleaner though, very good. I've had mud/food/paint/lip stick, all sorts on the carpet, a good scrub with this and it's gone. It won't prevent the kids making a mess again though!
