Great price for a pretty good bourbon. Better than regular Jim Beam and much better than that JD swill

Tesco and Amazon drop it fairly regularly to this price. Sells out quick near me when it does.

Have to disagree. Jim Beam is little more than supermarket own brand bourbon. This is a little bit better than that but still pretty rough when taken neat.

Like it or not JD is the Gold Blend orFord Focus of the 'American Whiskey' world - it's just fine (though nothing more)

I'd still spend a couple of quid more and go for Buffalo Trace which is available at most supermarkets.

Or treat yourself to Four Roses Small Batch which is my absolute favourite affordable tipple...

Heh sorry I meant the pecking order would be JB < WT < JD

Well in my opinion at least but I know it's subjective

Beams Devils Cut and Double Oak are both far superior to JD, both can be picked up for £16 when on offer as well

Not got round to trying those yet.

I'm not anti-Beam, I remember me and my mates drinking 2 bottles of JB Black at a pub a few years back when we were feeling a bit flush
