To be fair Wiley is busy banging out hot grime joints.

hot price! sold and sent by laptop outlet, NOT prime.

Definitely doesn't have latest version of Android.

I have one - don't expect any customer service from Wiley

Voted hot on the specs and the fact I have the Wileyfox Swift which was a brilliant phone imo right up until cyanogen was taken off by the upgrade and replaced with Android whatever. The phone has been useless since then... well, I say useless - you can still make calls with it, but it's not much better than the windows phone that it replaced tbh, and that was pants.

Hence my comment about customer service

is the Wileyfox Swift 2 X 32GB with 3GB RAM 5.2" FHD for £144.98 any good?

I'd recommend geting the Swift 2 instead for £15 more. I don't think this will get Android Oreo.

Got price alert and updated. Now bad value under 80 quid 💷

Seen a lot of comments about useless customer service, and that's really put me off. However, I'm sure buying through Amazon (if fulfilled by Amazon) then don't Amazon usually refund you if doesn't function as intended?

2GB ram. Pass.

Please point me to any >2Gb phone with change from eighty knicker.

I think the Wileyfox Sparks (though older) are on Android Nougat, so a pretty current OS.

And
dropbox.com/s/o…l=0
I think their Swift 2 would be a better buy at this price point though.
<edited to say Swift 2, not Swift>

Link ?

Great price , I'd rather pay more at Amazon rather than gearbest any day of the week
Gearbest are simply awful and the black Friday farce says it all

Why do we need the latest version of android? Apps are generally backwards compatible.

I recently went from a Samsung Note 2 to an LG G3 second hand for about 70 quid. I have no idea what version of android it is and don't really care - everything I need runs on it!

Google patches issues in Android monthly. Some issues are serious, but I don't hear about them being widely exploited. As banking on phones becomes more common, I'd imagine we'll starting hearing reports. Issues such as BlueBorne from September 2017 (controlling the phone remotely if you have bluetooth switched on) won't ever be fixed in phones that aren't getting updates. It's probably not fixed yet in many phones, but the fact that Wileyfox are releasing updates for this and their other phones suggests that their phones would have fixes for these issues applied reasonably quickly.

I don't know what the support is here in the UK for the LG G3 (2014), but was still being supported in the US on T-Mobile in July 2017 (though with a gap of almost one year to the previous patch):
"It's not often that an Android phone is updated three years after release, but T-Mobile has just pushed 'Software version D85130g' to the G3."

Oh yes that's £79 with vat if you get it. More with import duties. Or do you think it's ok to be a tax cheat?

He's even said already he ordered it from Amazon geez

Although it was most likely a misprice and no one has actually received it yet although we are expecting to

Not sure what you mean by that tbh? Not a criticism at all, but my Swift worked like a dream, fast, responsive, adaptable, etc, etc, truly brilliant phone imo - happiest I've been with a mobile from the first one ever. But the upgrade to nougat completely ruined it for those qualities (and I still don't know why except that I've seen comments from other Swift users saying much the same) and now it genuinely is a pita to use. Absolutely nothing on it functions as it did before. Much like my windows tablet that upgraded to Win10 (or was it 8 - I can't keep up these days :)) and it simply stopped working after that.

In the end, I'll have had the Swift for less than a year, of which 6-7 months it worked fine, and 4-5 months its been pants due to the 'upgrade', which obviously affected the longevity.

Forgive me, he added that in a later post and my Tardis is broke ;-)

Its irrelevant anyway if its only currently available (from a quick google search today) from Chinese vendors and, as far as I could find, not legitimately at anything like that price.

So anything decent, legit, available and bigger than 2Gb for less than eighty smackers?

Lol Tardis? I'd I edited the post it would show in grey writing at the the bottom saying 'edited' skiing with the time stamp. It's unedited and I wrote the comment 18 hours ago.

I don't much feel like helping you with that attitude. Do your own shopping.

Guess I'll have to.

All I'm asking is where I can get a >2Gb device from for eighty smackers today? If you want to point to one then I will thank you. If you can't or won't - that's your choice. But to rubbish somebody else's deal without doing so is an attitude you may wish to review.

Have a good day.

MSK is just triggered because he knows he's got nothing.
