The P9 Lite looks decent if you're fine with their skinned Android. Moto G Plus. Then you have Chinese ones.

The CPU is an upgrade over the original Swift, the screen is the same though.

You may be thinking about the Storm.

Wileyfox entered the market so well with the original Swift (even though it turned out to have various problems and their customer service is terrible).

After the terrible Spark, I seriously hoped that they would get their act together, but no, they've produced two more ever so slightly ropey phones at a price that's higher than their competitors. Nice one.

My Oneplus runs on Cyanogen, and I have no problems with Android Pay. It would be strange for them to put Android Pay on the webpage for this phone if it didn't work with it.

Isn't it when you have an unlocked bootloader, or when rooted?

Wouldn't touch any of those with a bargepole, & most of them have very ordinary cameras.

But would consider a Xiaomi - the Mi 5 in particular for a little over £200. One of the slightly more expensive Chinese-sourced phones, but with a decent camera. No band 20 support though on some UK 4G networks.

Thanks Crossbow, finding it hard finding a good LG G3 32GB........

I had the LG G3. I would not recommend it.

Very poor battery life.

Random reboots.

Screen death after 14 months.

I ended up getting a mint, used Note 4 on the auction site that shall remain unnamed for a steal at £165 and I couldn't be happier with it. But I know most people would rather buy new.

Should really be full hd screen at that price

spencer24

I imagine the 430 SnapDragon would really struggle at anything higher than 720p. This is a terrible phone really at a stupid price.

well I have the original wileyfox and that doesn't work, plus many other phones with cyanogen on and unroofed or bootloader locked. they just don't like custom ROMs which cyanogenmod is

Guys these phones do NOT run on CyanogenMod. They run on Cyanogen OS which is approved by google! Android pay works fine and all also all your banking apps work

Dude, you probably talk about CyanogenMod. I am well aware that Android pay won't work on cyanogenMod. But like I said in a previous comment, these phones do NOT run on CyanogenMod. They run on Cyanogen OS. Know the difference.

swift doesn't work, cyan os

either way no one will probably find out as no one will buy this phone as the deal is not good at all

djames108

swift doesn't work, cyan os

Of course on Swift it doesn't work. Thats because Swift does not have NFC! How would you expect to have android pay without NFC?

regardless of functionality the app will install, it just won't run due to 'custom os'

this isn't a custom OS - it's Cyanogen OS not CyanogenMod. This phone is not rooted and does not have an unlocked bootloader - it is no more a custom ROM than Samsung's or Lg's.

The previous Wileyfox phones won't work with Android Pay because they don't have NFC chips, and an NFC chip is the line of communication between the phone and the PoS.

Chinese imports often won't work with Android Pay for a variety of reasons, but chief among them is:

Lack of NFC
ROM isn't approved or running a secure bootloader
Device isn't intended for use in Europe.
Device simply isn't recognised by the Android Pay app.

had the lg g3 for 2 years, always worked fine for me!!

Laughing at the fight above - it runs Android Pay! It's not that hard to grasp is it? I think this looks pretty good for the money - yet to see a better offering for the same price thats made by anyone I would trust. If I have to have buy a budget phone I'd rather put a few pennies into a UK company too. Seriously - what matches up? Moto G4 is equal really - better in some ways but worse in many. Was considering the OnePlus 3 but this is swaying me. It's not a flagship at £500-700, but at the end of the day, what do most people use their phones for? Music on headphones, browsing the net and using apps - this easily does all that, right?
