5 blades with this vs 100 blades with yesterday's offer? Are you still wondering?

Depends what those 100 blades are vs Wilkinson sword blades.

Obviously, but the Wilkinson's ones can't be 15-20 times better, can they?!

Blades are two a penny really and people talk about a big multi pack on ebay to try different blades. Someone mentioned the Amazon one may not be best for first time users but already bought so no longer wondering, also no one has jumped on this one to say any good

German or Czech tech for Wilkinson. Where are the Amazon ones from?

I can't speak for the blades that come with that amazon razor but the wilkinson blades are really good. With that said blades can make or break your shave, so its worth getting some from a well known brand
In my opinion, this is a good deal. I have several DE razors, and this is the one I use every day. I know it's probably Chinese, and will not last as long as some of my 70yr old razors, but as a daily driver, it's hard to beat.

I also had a pack of 100 Amazon blades a while back when they were on offer, and they are in fact very good for the money. (Not fond of WS ones, personally)
Shark DE are the ones that work great for me. Heat added for the price. Can't say on the razor though but looks good and seen some good reviews on YT.

They could very well be. Steel quality makes a huge difference to the blade's durability.

Not really sold on Amazon quality tbh especially in this segment where they have absolutely no pedigree or experience. Wilkinson Sword has far more experience.

Dunno how good this but I’m genuinely besotted with my Feather D2. Can’t even imagine a better shave right now. It’s absolutely stunned me.

It’s recommended for most users to go down the multipack round with lots of brands to find what works for them. I’ve tried Derby extra and it’s smooth no doubt but lacks the sharpness to be the one for me. Huge fan of the feather blades but they lose their edge after 1/2 shaves and become ordinary after that. Plus high price for them. Trying some BIC Chromium blades now to see what’s up.
For all those commenting about blades and quality, one way to keep them sharp is to make sure you clean and dry the blade thoroughly. Leaving blades wet really does make them go blunt much faster. Try it out and see.
Totally recommend my lady gave to me as a gift. My life changed after trying this, wouldn't go back to the plastic base razers I used to shave with.
Have this paid more for it. I was my first double edge safety razor. It's very good for this price. The WS blades aren't brilliant though - but I bought 50 Astra Platinum blades for under £5 on Ebay which are good.

This I shall definitely be trying. I normally give my feathers a thorough wash through from the tap to make sure no soap or left over hairs stay on the blade and dull it even faster than it already is going to be.

They can if they are cheap Chinese tat which normally get with cheap razors from China.
