"Wilkinson Sword Quatro Titanium Precision Trimmer Razor" with 1 blade (no extras) is half price at the moment in Sainsburys at £3.90.

The normal one was there too (just quattro) at £2.90 or something. I bought this one and i did not realise but it has an electric trimmer too if you turn the razor upside down which is absolute genius! (I've always been a Gillette person, i realise its probably not new)

Doesn't seem to be on-line though so might want to call up your nearest Sainsburys. I got these in Beeston, Nottingham.

A picture to show the blade with the trimmer at the bottom, surprised Gillette hasn't done this! This is perfect for my goatee.

It was on offer but i got it mixed up and got no offer in the end lol. Basically the Chicken escalope was BOGOF at £2.99. The Lemon turkey escalope is £2.29 BOG Cheapest Free but I made an error somewhere is reading the price as i thought the Chicken one was also 2.29. I just picked up the two. I only realised The Chicken one was on a seperate offer when I went to get my refund, I ended up getting two lemon turkeys instead.

Niz, I am ashamed to say that I waded all through this riveting account of your shopping adventure before coming to my senses and saying to myself - Hang on, you sad person, did you really need to read all that? Is this what your world has come to? Then I found myself answering: Yes, obviously!

Must log off now, and go and read the telephone directory . . . :-D

Sometime, I must tell everyone the tale of when I bought two courgettes at Sainsbury's, only to find they were on offer at Tesco. Wow, what an escapade that turned out to be!

Incidentally, an excellent deal, thanks. Heat given.

Don't worry, I thought the same - way too easy to cut yourself with, go with the Gilette battery powered one (currently reduced to half price £4.99 in store at Tesco)

I bought one of these last week when it was on offer in Boots. The trimmer is good, but I can't work out whether the blade on the other end vibrates when the razor is on. I don't think it does tbh, meaning that for straight shaving, the vibrating gilettes might be better.

No, the battery only powers the trimmer on the bottom - there's certainly no vibration from the razor unlike with the gillette.

I suppose as a TRIMMER the WS works okay - just be careful with it as it's alot more powerful than you might expect it to be, the lightest touch against one of my sideburns with it took it all off as opposed to a small amount like I wanted - as a razor however it fails outright

I bought one of these from Morissons the other week and it was **** compared to my normal Mach 3 turbo and you only get 1 razor head!

The electric shaver wasn't as precise as I had hoped either - the single blade on the back of my Gilette is better so cold for me as even at 99p it's not a hot deal.

I bought one of these the other day and liked the fat handle, shaves well and trims just above the hairline (where I get most of my grey hair!). I also like the holder which has suction pads you can stick on a tiled surface. The blades are very sharp, so its not for shaving in a hurry. The only problem is the blades cost nearly as much as gilette fusion ones.

I also tried the king of shaves Azor razor recently, but it was so wide I couldn't shave under my nose properly. However, if I was to be brutally honest, none of these shavers are significantly better than the old Sensor or Mach 3.

im sure it is no longer £3.90, prices should have changed this morning.

It is about this price in Tesco too by the way - I was dragged their earlier but opted for a Gilette Fusion Phenom for the same price but with 2 blades.
