Not a deal a such, but the filters fit the perfect prep machine. When the filters for that are £10 each 3 for a fiver is a deal. Available in stores as well.

This isn't intended to scaremonger (i'm hoping someone has the right answer as i've read conflicting information) but while these fit the Perfect Prep they aren't recommended for using. This has something to do with carbon being used in the official filters to remove bacteria/impurities which isn't used in a standard filter.

Anyone have any further information on this?

Says on the back of wilko box activated carbon.

Even the plastic wrapper they come in looks the same as what the tommee tippee one came in. Would be good to weigh the both of them to see if there is a difference.

Difference in price is astronomical between these and the official filters!

These Wilko ones filter the water so quickly compared to the TT ones. Surely that's not a good thing?

These are rubbish for a normal water filter they only last a week (_;)

With a newborn baby I wouldn't be prepared to take the risk for a few quid more

I know of someone who used these and it broke their tt machine. Not worth the risk to the baby or machine.

I bought some of these after seeing them on here to use in my Perfect Prep for my second baby. As someone else stated I did notice they filtered the water extremely quickly compared to the official TT ones. My baby was very unsettled but I didn't think about the filter and even changed his milk, saw GP etc; we thought he might be lactose intolerant at one point. It may totally have been a coincidence but once I bought official TT filter my baby was absolutely fine and back on normal milk with no issues.
Definitely not the worth the risk in my opinion.

We would like to make you aware that the Wilko water filters are not recommended for use with the Perfect Prep. Tommee Tippee filters have a 3 step filtration process including an ultra filtration membrane which physically prevents bacteria passing through it. This makes the Tommee Tippee filter as effective as boiling water in terms of removing bacteria and is why we only recommend using Tommee Tippee filters with your Perfect Prep. Thanks, tt

If a baby is allowed to drink water straight from the tap in a cup, then why does it matter how much it is filtered for bottles? I'm confused
