Always remind me of he walking dead...

Great if you likd minifigures that fall apart. I speak from experience..... the bases on the other hand are good.

The minifigs are the worst thing about these sets. Poorly made and hideous, which is a shame as the sets are generally decent for the price

It's funny because whenever I see a Lego deal posted here I think to myself "who are the people that pay so much for a child's toy?".

Lego could get away with charging extortionate prices in the old days, but since all their patents have expired, now anyone can make compatible bricks/parts. This is why they have changed their strategy to do tie-ins instead such as Star Wars , DC/MARVEL comics, the Simpsons etc.

So who is more the fool; the person buying cheap, Lego-compatible and widely available children's toy or the person paying hundreds of pounds so that their child's toy has a movie theme and brand name that works just the same?

With your examples, that this works with LEG.O (Genuine), I have one for you:

Two tyres. One is £15 and was a deal. One is £250 and far more rugged. They both work the same, right?

Which would YOU go with? It doesn't make us fools for buying the more expensive, especially when the quality is there. This works for this product, Tyres, mobile phones, computers, literally everything.

I am certainly no fool for purchasing genuine LEG.O. It may be moderately priced, but nobody is forcing anyone to buy it. The quality is there. The designs are immaculate, perfect, and routinely updated. New products coming out all the time, and there is always a deal on somewhere.

Regarding this cheap, inferior brand / product, I can say first hand that these bricks are cheap, nasty, and have awful colours that DO NOT match the LEG.O brand. If you emptied a tub of this into a tub of genuine LEG.O, even without touching, you'd be able to visually SEE the cheap non-brand as the colours are totally different. The build quality is rubbish too.

Sure, a deal for someone, but to try and liken it to LEG.O is laughable, and calling us fools for buying the real deal... well, that's just silly. My money, my choice where and what I spend it on.

(Non confrontational, just to be clear. Healthy debate :-) )

Don't be daft...... LEGO doesn't have feelings

Silly Person!!

Good price, but I'd rather pay 50p for actual lego clones from Aliexpress if I'm getting fakes, costs more but much better. The Wilkinson ones are totally different and pretty awful IMO.
