Sadly my kids won’t touch blox. Not a patch on Lego or the price in fairness but these are infuriating to build, falling apart more than clicking together. Puts your child off building anything!
I'll be honest, Blox don't go together as smoothly as Lego bricks, but I have never had anything fall apart - if anything, they are a bit more difficult to put together and as a result a PITA to get apart again!. In terms of price they are fantastic value. The sets are not as slick as Lego, by that I mean the models are boxier and clunkier than any Lego counterpart, but that is exactly what Lego was when I was a kid - simple bricks and a lot of imagination. Now Lego sets are generally fully formed toys that just need to be assembled first! If you can pick any of the large Blox sets up in the sale, I'd can heartily recommend them. Last year I got the large transporter lorry with race cars, and my Son got that from his grandparents this year, along with a couple of their trains and station which were birthday presents in the year. The year before I picked up a couple of castles. Blox are not Lego, but Blox prices are not Lego prices, and in the sale, they are super cheap. As someone else said on another thread, Lego snobbery is just so sad.
Blox are great, and normally a great price. During sales they are an absolute steal.
Great price. We quite like Blox here!
