Collects condensation which helps to protect window ledges; walls and floors. Highly absorbent. Easy to use.

Great if you use blinds and water collects at the bottom of the windows from condensation.

they are handy - we use them in the kids rooms under the blackout blinds - saves wiping the window sills every morning

How does it work it then?
Do you roll it up every morning and chuck it in the bin, and then tear off another strip?
If it's like the roll we bought yonks ago:
- you cut a strip to fit the bottom edge of the window pane
- you wet at the sink with cold water & wring out : so that it becomes flat/positionable
- leave overnight
- wring out out at the sink
- repeat nightly as necessary
- dispose when soiled/shrunken & cut a fresh strip

thanks for that...
Prompted by this thread picked up another couple of the rolls at £1 instead of £2.99. They are indeed as I remembered them - and they are still WHITE not pinkish as reproduced in Wilko photo.
