Wilko Do It Yourself Barbecue Grill Set, £12 @ Wilko

Found 4th Jun 2014
I plan to build a brick BBQ in garden to catch up the season. Looking for the grill set, I found this cheapest.

I know the price had been lower, but that was after summer time and in store only.

The stock is low, so grab it quickly if you need one.

Free to collect from store, otherwise there is a postage unless order over £80.

Now, look for tools...

You will get grilled over this deal mate...hot from me.

Looks good for the price, you can also get gas BBQ inserts for these quite cheap which would be my preferred choice over messy charcoal but BBQ hot from me ..............

How many bricks does it come with? Are they just standard red or are other colours available?

Built one of these a good few years ago, didn't use bricks I used breeze blocks...the type you use for building external walls which are decorative on one side....was a lot quicker and in my opinion better looking than the traditional brick style

It says bricks not included in the description

Wow. Great price. Was tginking about getting the same kit in B&Q, which was £26 when i last looked!
Thank you for a great find

Sounded like a joke to me (note the fezz!). Lol.

It's no bargain as it does not come with the bricks. Very misleading

Jeez. There really are some morons!!
How is any company gonna send 100 or so bricks in the post??
Its a 66cm wide grill set for £12!.
Cheaper and much bigger than most flimsy BBQ's that are triple this price!!

Also it does say.......

!!!!!! BRICKS NOT INCLUDED !!!!!!

By the way i built one like this at my last house.
So if it helps you will need about 104 bricks (7 need to be split in half. No need for cement either, as i just layed them dry and was fine for 5 years (easy to move if needed also)

Of course Bricks aren't included! The postage would be F**king ridiculous! I've bought one of these to use with some bricks I already have lying around what you get is a set of "brackets" to set into the mortar as you build the BBQ up.
You also get the shelf for the coals and the metal trays/racks for the meats to sit on. I bought it for double this and I still love my Brick BBQ.
