These are awful for car cleaning. Anyone who cares about their cars paint, google the 2 two bucket method and use something better than this.

Bought these last week, they were marked on the shelf at 3 for £1 but when scanned only 2 for £1.

Are these suitable for spongers?

Better off paying extra for a microfibre wash mitt. These traditional sponges hold the dirt and grit on the surface and scour swirls and scratches into the paintwork.
