These are awful for car cleaning. Anyone who cares about their cars paint, google the 2 two bucket method and use something better than this.
Something like this is much better and will save you £100's on paint correction down the line - eurocarparts.com/p/t…wcB

Better than all the non functional sponges I've wasted my money on

Some product authors are over the top. I guess they are just trying to make it look different, even though its a Sponge anyway.

True, lambs wool wash mitt and 2 bucket method with grit guard is what I use.

So, there are dysfunctional sponges….seemingly more expensive then…

Is the non-functional version even better value?

Bought these last week, they were marked on the shelf at 3 for £1 but when scanned only 2 for £1.

I bought one of these from Halfords for a quid in order to get a free MOT that they had on offer at the time. I use it purely for my house windows and never ever put it near a car!!

Some people have said tge same about a Halfords mot....

Better off paying extra for a microfibre wash mitt. These traditional sponges hold the dirt and grit on the surface and scour swirls and scratches into the paintwork.
