Grass will be too long by then.

I was after a self-propelled one but at £95 this is very tempting. A lot of reviews on the site and mostly very good, so I've ordered one.

Thanks OP. Your first post in 6.5 years of membership but a good one. (_;)

I usually get beaten to posting deals, so nice to actually pop my cherry and get one on here and return the favour for the many deals that my poor wallet has taken the hit on ;-)
Please correct me if im wrong but the main failure of these is leaving fuel in it for long extended periods of times corrodes the fuel lines then leaks. I got one aswell cheers op my garden isnt massive so this is perfect for me.

Yes I've just gone through this last weekend. I got one of these a couple of years ago at the end of the summer when Wilko's were clearing them out. Used it last weekend and after using it the fuel leaked out of the air filter, and I couldn't get it started.
After a quick google the cause is the float in the carburettor sticking, usually caused by the fuel going off.

A look on youtube and by removing two nuts and one pipe and the carburettor comes of. one more nut and the float is accessible.
Cleaned it up, put it back together, fresh fuel in and its going again just like new.

I shall drain the fuel at the end of this summer tho
Is this mower easy to use or bulky and heavy to manoeuvre in real terms?
Oos now
I would pay the extra and get a self propelled mower. These mowers are quite heavy. Easy peasy when self propelled.
Gone up to £115

I got mine today and I'm very impressed with it. It is heavy compared to your hover mowers, as are all petrol mowers. This is because there is an petrol engine included so the weight can't be avoided. At least this has a plastic body to keep the weight down.

If you want an petrol mower but are worried about the weight then you should look at only self-propelled versions.
I tried mine yesterday well impressed. One question mine had labels all over saying fuel and oil not included.. so I purchased some oil and just as I was about to pour I noticed it had oil. Did anyone elses come with oil?

Mine came with some oil in it, but that would of been from the running tests they perform on them. Was only dregs and required filling.
Been impressed with it so far though!
