Tip from a professional pick and mixer.

When filling a cup cram those sucker down I mean really fist punch them so the bottom bulges. And fill in the gaps with jelly beans

Because, in moderation, sweets aren't the end of the world. Don't tell me how to parent. I'd rather her teeth fall out and she actually enjoys her life then her look perfect and have a miserable existence, like a certain someone

Do you know what date 😋
I have heard they are doing £1 off each cup size and there will be no half price offer other than on the £1.95 cup

Well considering my little girl has now discovered what these are (cheers, mummy!) Suppose I'll get her a small cup.
saying next week is all well and good but that can literally be any point up to the midnight on the sunday...
If they have changed the prices surely that means it's now active. I'll let you know at 5pm today when I go past
What date tho?
Is it starting today because schools and colleges break up for half term today
So they aren't priced on weight just the size of the cup?
Has anyone worked out whether getting a cup or weighed bag is more cost affective? I know it depends on squish factor and weight of the sweets but it would be interesting to know. And yes, I should get a life.
Why can't we just pay per gram (or ounce like when I were a lad!) for all sizes. Makes it so unclear which one is the better value.

That's what we do, but smarties are better space fillers.

Just a heads up for anyone, 2 regular cups hold the same amount as 1 share cup.
So...
1 share cup = £3
2 regular cups 2x£1 = £2

So if you want to get a share cup, get 2 regulars instead
Which cinemas allow you to take your own food in ?

I normally smuggle in such things in down my trousers and have done successfully at Vue and Odeon, but not sure what their and other cinemas policies are.
So is 3 small cups better than a large cup on this deal

Lol, ever notice staff laughing at you? Because you can take your own food into most cinemas as long as it’s nothing smelly.
What about the treat sized one? They are normally £1 (or 50p when it is 1/2 price)

I prefer paying for the cup as I know then before I start I am spending £2 or whatever on sweets. Whereas by weight its too easy to load up a bag and find its £5 worth only when you get to the till.
Also probably easier for parents to say to children that you get as many sweets as fit in the cup and that's it. By weight if you tell them they have £2 worth there is no easy way of knowing how much it is.

Most large cinemas allow cold non-smelly food and drinks to be brought in.
let the cramming commence

I like to build a solid foundation with Refreshers lining the wall and all the squishables in the centre. Plenty of fizzy bubblegum bottles in there as palate cleansers!

I wonder if it's a permanent change to their half term sales or just a one off this time
No smaller cups in the Pompey store when I went, only medium and share sizes. Also they actually asked me if I wanted the lid taped down at the till...

Both of those have policies that specifically allow you to take in your own cold food and non-alcoholic drink. No need to hide it.
