The bogie special is back! Kids licking sweets and putting them back in!
Great for giving the grandkids to take to the Cinema. However, you get much more if you fill 2 small cups as opposed to one large

I think the cups are normally priced £2 regular, £3 medium and £4 for large and the bags are around 90p for 100grams

Oooh yay! last couple of times they've only done £1 off and such so this is better. Heat added.

Now I know why!

Haha!! Funny that, saw a kid yesterday who was casually picking his nose and wiped it on a sweet that he had licked. Put it back in the container and and helped himself to some more sweets. Mum was too busy on her mobile and looking at the biscuits!

I always go for the ones at the top.. safer then the sweets in the bottom kid height row.

I think that's not actually right. Somebody did a test a few months ago and said that the biggest cup holds more than two times what the smallest cup does.

255g vs 558g

Check the website?
I shy away from non packed sweets due to hygiene reasons and so I wouldn’t buy these for my kids. And it’s just me! For open sweet lovers, saves some £

On other hand just that it’s 1£ or 2£ off, it tempts us to buy even when you don’t want to... Damn!

Just soak them in bleach before eating
Each tub comes with the filth of 90 strangers hands, for free! Think of it as a bonus

Yeah there is, but you have to read the ingredients lists on each one- it doesn't clearly state with a V which is a pain!

Usually the shiny jelly sweets have gelatine whereas the matt ones (like haribo strawbs) are veggie. Hope that makes sense!

ewww! My tip is dig out the ones from the very back of the container where is bends up, rather than the front where all the kids can touch them! The further back the better!

That means we can't even touch those now!
Time to iron the elasticated waist trousers I guess.

All of these candyking.co.uk/?s=…ine contain gelatine so are not vegetarian, most other sweets should be fine, but you might want to double check ingredients. I'm not certain if Wilko still use Candy King as the supplier, but its a good guide to start from.

They do use Candy King as the supplier and the information labels on the tubs say "Suitable for vegetarians" on the relevant sweets

That might not always work as some of these look matt and contain gelatine candyking.co.uk/?s=…ine

Yeah I just use this as a rule of thumb but always read the ingredients list anyway. Just saves a bit of time instead of having to read the list on every single sweet there!
Diabetes in a cup
Excellent! Will be picking up a large cup, will help to boost my immune system for the winter
Can anyone say they've become ill very soon after eating Wilko's pick n mix? Anyone buying these for their kids should have some immunity from child germs anyway :-)

Haha I dont I guess! Just feel like the odds are more in my favour digging out some from the back with the spoon thing, than the ones at the front that any kid could just touch

Just have to take these chances in life sometimes!
How does this pick and mix work? Is it according to weight or is it how much you can stuff in the cup?

It's how much you can stuff in the cup. If you get a bag it's by weight, bags are usually not included in the £1 off but as this is half price then they may well be
