I'd buy it if it wasn't for all the stupid buttons.
Who puts fish in a pressure cooker?
All I want is a power selector and an on button, maybe a timer at a push but they have to go and over complicate everything.
Thanx op ordered two, got the PKP version at home and love it, wanted something similar for the caravan.
The other ones a gift for my sister in law who works shifts so she can set it to start cooking while she's at work and the meal is ready when she gets home,
Fab piece of kit
Is this definitely a pressure cooker like Instant Pot?
Went for the PKP 5.5Ltr from Tesco as they assured me they had 2 in this morning, but after the run around and waiting in store almost 30 mins they gave me bad news - none in stock. So shot over to Wilko and bought one of these, saved myself £21 and it comes with a 2 year warenty too. Bargin cant wait to try it

Do Wilko sell these in stores?

You'd like the argos Cookworks one. £14.99 when it's on sale.

Cheap PCBs and high temperatures never last long.

Do you have any examples of mechanical ones that you'd recommend?

And what is "mechanical" about them in this context? Sorry I'm new to pressure cookers!

It doesn't save that much time for something like a bolognese sauce when you factor in bringing up to pressure, which can take ten to fifteen minutes, then releasing pressure at the end. These save time for joints and whole chicken, but the headline cooking times don't factor this extra time. I have a different brand which is great, especially for cheaper cuts of meat.
OOS?
oos online and no nearby stores with stock available
I bought the last one in Nuneaton. :-)
Just ordered one, back in stock
Just bought one in-store at Thornaby. They had one more on the shelf
