3.4kg??? Nothing light about that!

Partner just bought one for an upcoming holiday of a similar size and it weighs 1.8kg or something. Cost a little more than this (around £30 after discounts I think?) but when your hold luggage allowance is only 15kg, I reckon it's worth the extra.

This - argos.co.uk/sta…htm?CMPID=GS001&_$ja=cgid:5312996327|tsid:41259|cid:116731487|lid:18283950120|nw:g|crid:23320452527|rnd:1344497895279264370|dvc:c|adp:1o3|bku:1

.... seems like a better deal. £5 cheaper and 0.7kg lighter for the same capacity without losing the wheels. (Although you only get two wheels on the argos one so have to drag it)

Looks particularly awful tho..

^ both are crap.

That argos one you linked to looks worse than this and you need your eyes testing to say otherwise, it's basically a £5 sports bag on wheels.

The Wilko one at least looks on the surface reasonable quality, even if it's still useless as it has a height of 67cm so no carrier is going to take that as cabin luggage.

Cabin luggage?

Who mentioned cabin luggage? I have a CabinMax one for that, weighs less than 1kg and leaves both my hands free.

This one looks like a hold bag to me. Our hold allowance later this year is only 15kg! So I'd be looking for something lighter than 3.5kg. And I'm intrigued to know how you can tell the quality of both just by looking at pictures on the internet. You can't see stitching, seams, how thick any of the fabric is etc etc. They're both fabric type cases but if you want light, you need to sacrifice something ....

I wouldn't buy either myself. If I was going to get one, I'd get the same one my partner did as it's lighter than both of these ....
