If you are more than an amature player, you may want to invest bit more, just my opinion

All 100+gm - too heavy - really need racquet around 93-96gms.

For very casual play, they'd be fine. However, if you are going to play badminton even only as an enthusiastic amateur, you are likely to have to pay at least anywhere between £2 and £10 an hour for court fees. So even if you racquet is only going to last 2 years, you'd easily spend £100-£200 on court fees alone during that time and quite a few £ on shuttles too.

These racquets would be OK to try the sport and see if you like it before investing.

As far as I know anything above 90g is too heavy. If you are just a casual player or play only occasionally for fun then the 90g racket is decent enough.

I was a casual but competitive player and I once played regularly with friends at the weekends so I got a carlton fireblade 84g racket for £40 and a Wilson k factor 85-89g for £70.

Cheap price for a racket, but definately a bit on the heavy side :s
