Wimbledon Centre Court & No.3 Court Tickets from £45.00+booking - On Sale 9AM/12PM the day before @ Ticketmaster

Wimbledon is back and most people think that unless you have been successfully in the public ballot or fancy paying over the odds for tickets that you don't have any chances unless you want to queue up very very early (I certainly did think that).

There are two different types of ticket available:
Returns for Centre Court and No.3 Court
Reserved seating for Centre Court and No.3 Court

A limited number of tickets will be available: Centre Court for each of the 13 days of The Championships and No.3 Court for the first 7 days.

For returns tickets will go on sale with Ticketmaster at around 48 hours before the day of play e.g. at noon on Saturday 22nd June for play on Monday 24th June.

Reserved seating tickets will go on sale each morning at 9.00am for the following day's play e.g. on Sunday 23rd June for play on Monday 24th June.

They sell 500 tickets on each day.

Here is last years deal for Wimbledon.

Booking Tip: You are more likely to be successful for the Court 3 if you aim for that first. Keep refreshing the page from 8:59AM. The only thing to select is number of ticket and click search (ignore everything else, don't even think about trying to read anything). The second thing to do is to type the captcha as fast as possible. Don't try to recheck what you typed as that will take time. Try to get it right the first time and even if there is a single typo it usually goes through. Hopefully following this procedure will help you grab tickets tomorrow.

My sister's coming to see me next weekend - we're planning on trying to make use of this, thanks for posting it! Can someone explain the difference between reserved and returned to me? Thanks!

Billie Jean King is Not My Lover,

SHE'S JUST A GIRL WHO CLAIMS THAT I AM THE ONE,

But the kiiiiidd is not my son...

A sport where the best woman can beat the best man (battle of The sexes game, 1970s, was on The One Show last night) is not a sport, it is a past time.

Looks like a wet one next week the first few days, so bring your Cliff Rchards song sheets

This deal is done every year, but is potentially hot for Wimbledon fans. I know somebody who actually sold their own grandmother for a centre court ticket.

I think the reserved ticket is a ticket that was never sold and is being sold for the first time where as the return ticket is a ticket that someone bought before but later decided to return for a refund. I think there's about 500 reserved ticket for each day but returned ticket number may vary and may even be 0 if no one returned their ticket for a refund. Hope this helps.

damn you beat me to it, been checking when this was coming on sale for the last few days.

Heat!! Hopefully get lucky this year!

And with reserved you know where you will be sitting before you order

We ended up getting returns tickets last year for the Men's Semi Finals, brilliant seats about 6 or 7 rows from the court! You'll need to be quick though and I'd recommend Chrome and a super fast internet connection to maximise your chances!

I've got the best seat in the house !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! right in front of my HD tele....................

me too! some of that and some magic beans and we're away!

i love the community but advertising this has made me sad!

lol but then again i would be grateful if i didnt already know about this! lol ;-)

I dread to think what strawberries and cream go for these days.Hope the rain stays away(especially on the outside courts)for those that are going.I used to go quite a few times in the 70's and 80's,but now prefer to lounge on the sofa watching it.

Ha ha! I posted this deal, I hope I don't miss out on it because they sell out super fast

I tried everyday last year and couldn't get a ticket! Fast fibre optic broadband, filled in all details at 8.55 and kept clicking refresh literally every second until they were released. Within a split second of being released each day they were already sold so you have to be very lucky!

99.9% of people won't get these, so don't get your hopes up.

Wife got to centre court last year on the frontline centre. This year we have tickets for centre court day 1 Monday similar location Roger.F is playing

The battle of the sexes was two matches. In both matches ' the best man in the world' was actually a 50 odd year old called Bobby Riggs who's claim to fame was winning Wimbledon 30 odd years before the match. In the first match he beat the No 1 woman in the world ,Margaret Court only dropping 3 games in the process. He then played Billie Jean King and lost in straight sets. Given Riggs wasn't even the best in his hey day I think it is pushing it to call him the best in his 50's.

Because no one's returned any tickets yet?

There are never many tickets in the "returned" 12:00 sale but a lot more tomorrow at 9am, I have managed to get a few of the 9am ones for the last few years but not the 12:00 released ones.

Having said that I got a "returned" ticket for the first day of Wimbledon last year. Oh and I tried again today and was one of the luck few who has got a ticket for monday this year too :-)

They only have a hand full of returns and there are less and less every day . I assume the first day they have more as corporate \ coaches \ associations dont take up their allocations.

Last year the 2 tickets I got from "returns" were half way down with american coaches all round us, so guess they didnt want the extra 2 seats. lucky for me anyway :-)

Anyway, good luck to everyone for tomorrow

Gutted this has been advertised on here as it makes them harder to get. Been last few years too!

I managed to pick up returns for court 3, I know it isn't as good but it's my first time going to wimbledon so looking forward to the atmosphere, and I didn't really fancy my chances getting centre court tickets

Held up by the security check wording! I always get those wrong and have to ask 4 or 5 times for new words. Is that a "m" or "rn"?
And it must be worse for those taking the "visually impared" option. They will be well out of time!
