Wimbledon Centre Court & No.3 Court Tickets from £48.00+booking - On Sale 9AM/12PM the day before @ Ticketmaster

Wimbledon is back and most people think that unless you have been successfully in the public ballot or fancy paying over the odds for tickets that you don't have any chances unless you want to queue up very very early (I certainly did think that until I got tickets this way last year).

There are two different types of ticket available:
Returns for Centre Court and No.3 Court
Reserved seating for Centre Court and No.3 Court

A limited number of tickets will be available: Centre Court for each of the 13 days of The Championships and No.3 Court for the first 7 days.

For returns tickets will go on sale with Ticketmaster at around 48 hours before the day of play e.g. at noon on Saturday 21nd June for play on Monday 23th June.

Reserved seating tickets will go on sale each morning at 9.00am for the following day's play e.g. on Sunday 22nd June for play on Monday 23rd June.

They sell 500 tickets on each day.

Here is my last years deal for Wimbledon.

FULL DETAILS:
Returns for Centre Court and No.3 Court:

They will go on sale with Ticketmaster at around 48 hours before the day of play e.g. at noon on Saturday 21st June for play on Monday 23rd June.

Seat details will not be available at the time of booking but seats will be allocated in booking order, i.e. those seats judged to be the best available will be allocated to the first customer, and so on. There are strict collection arrangements regarding these tickets:

* They will be available for collection only on the day of play (via Gate 4) from the AELTC Ticket Office, Wimbledon. The Grounds open fully at 10.30 am although customers can be admitted via Gate 4 from 9.30 am onwards and have access to the AELTC Ticket Office and limited facilities until 10.30 am.

* In order to collect the tickets, you will need to show your confirmation e-mail from Ticketmaster, the credit or debit card used when purchasing the tickets and valid photographic ID (eg passport or driving license)

* TICKETS WILL NOT BE RELEASED TO THIRD PARTIES

Reserved Seating Centre Court and No.3 Court:

Tickets will go on sale each morning at 9.00am for the following day's play e.g. on Sunday 22nd June for play on Monday 23rd June.

Under this scheme, seat numbers will be confirmed at the time of booking and tickets will be printed on arrival at the Grounds. Entry to the Grounds will be through Gate 7 on Church Road. The Grounds open fully at 10.30am, although customers can be admitted via Gate 7 from 9.45am onwards (excluding last 2 days 5 & 6 July) and have access to limited facilities until 10.30am.

Each original purchaser must provide the actual credit/debit card used for the purchase along with valid photographic ID (passport or driving licence) and the confirmation email in order to receive the tickets.

The name on your credit/debit card must match the name against which your purchase was made, otherwise you will be refused entry. The cardholder must be present at the time of entry and must be attending themselves. The entire party must enter the Grounds at the same time.

Booking Tip: You are more likely to be successful for the Court 3 if you aim for that first. Keep refreshing the page from 8:59AM. The only thing to select is number of ticket and click search (ignore everything else, don't even think about trying to read anything). The second thing to do is to type the captcha as fast as possible. Don't try to recheck what you typed as that will take time. Try to get it right the first time and even if there is a single typo it usually goes through. Hopefully following this procedure will help you grab tickets tomorrow.

Does anyone have a ROUGH price for the centre court tickets?

It's great to go there during the early days as the outer courts are full of activity.

A link to last years deal which will give you all the answers and advice you need

hotukdeals.com/dea…233

plus the usual deal flamming as to whether they should do this or how some people can get them and others not.

-9°. Wow! Some people have nothing better to do except randomly vote cold for no reason.

I agree, go there 1st week if you want to see play on the outside courts; but this is good for 2nd week - unless you end up with very bad seats at the very top of the court - bring binoculars

I've never been and really want to so hot from me :-)

Can you not pay £20 at the gate to get in during the first week?

Yep you can. I think you need to queue at 5AM to gain entry around 12PM. Last year when I went there they told me that the first few people were queuing since Saturday for the Monday game.

Brilliant day out. Got to be on the ball at 9am though!

This is good information (arguably great to the uninformed) but not really a deal. Standard price for standard offering from Wimbledon. Should be in Misc (in my view).

Thanks OP - I will keep an eye out for when the tickets go on sale Sunday at 9am

Last year my friend managed to get returns for the Men's Singles Final, and was sat right where Djokovic/Murray entered and exited Centre Court. She got their autographs and was on TV. Brilliant system, Wimbledon!

How do you actually find this page from the ticketmaster home page?

ok, so I'll start the "love-in" on this thread. Was desperate for tickets at 12:00 so I could go with my mum. (we missed last yeas final tickets and it was too hot as well). So really wanted to see Andy on the first day as champ.

Logged in as I had done for 4 years (having been doing this as while). Shakey hands was anticipation and,,,,,,, nothing :-(

Used the advice from last years thread and didnt give up hope. 1 in 10000 chance I thought but kept retrying and 12:06 I got some. I'm not an emotional person but I could cry now :-)

So happy.

Anyone else managed to get any, I'm not getting anywhere!

Am guessing my seats are the last ones that were there. They are numbered in the 40's so there was only a few pairs there. Last year there was 100+ on the first day for returns. so assume its more popular as Murray is champ.

I am glad it worked out. Remember that there are fewer returns than the reserved seating.

Forgot this started today Congrats to those that were lucky enough to get tickets

Ive been to Wimbledon a couple of times and is great day out. The first week is really good as you can see the matches on the outer courts. I'm sure this deal will hot up once Wimbledon starts OP.

Same happened to me, don't see how anyone could have been quicker. Although didn't repeat for 20 mins, gave up after 2. Do you think its just because there were only very few return tickets whereas if we try tomorrow at 9am theres a few hundred so a much higher chance of getting them?

Most likely. I didn't manage to get return tickets last year but the 9AM ones, I got them easily the first 2 days.

Theatrical, how many did you go for? Maybe there were so few they all went in seconds. There would definitely have been return tickets yesterday.

Any luck today?

OP, I tried this morning and amazingly I got the opportunity to get 2 centre court tickets. Unfortunately I have to go to work tomorrow so didnt purchase (I very nearly bought but was a bit risky if I could get the time off). I will probably regret this decision when sitting at work on Monday.

Great deal anyway - just shows it is possible to get tickets p.s. I had done this previous years and never got any tickets, I am a bit better on the word captcha this year

I managed to get some today as well. Row ZA, anybody been and can tell me what view is like from the back?
In my opinion its all based on the Captcha, they've made it a bit different from previous years and today I got two three letter words, yesterday I got 'general tso' but it was written in a really confusing way could hardly read it. Assuming everyone is pretty much the same speed it all comes down to which Captcha you get

Do you guys have fiber or regular BB. Think I have any chance with an 8mb bb speed?

Tried at 9 and 12. Nothing

Definitely - I think everyone has a chance. It's really down to luck; of the second you timed your refresh to, the captcha you get, etc. etc. Also if you don't get one at first, try again. I tried for a return today and didn't get one (going for a single ticket), was so disappointed as I really want to see Rafael Nadal play in person (I've followed him for 8 years and haven't managed to see him play...yet). I tried for 10 minutes, just kept entering the captcha, over and over. I finally got one! So thank you to whoever decided against their ticket, you could have just made my life!

Congrats. I got to see him 3 years ago using the ticketmaster site. I tried for ages today but no dice. I'll keep trying till the tourney is over. Thanks

I got a return for Tuesday. So excited. I got one last year for the first Monday. It deffo works.

A tip is that today it opened before 12, only about 10 seconds but still. Deffo make sure you refresh before 12:00.

Row ZA is good enough. I sat on ZA too last year and got pretty good view. After the main game, most people leaves and you can move forward nearer to the court (and watch players you probably don;t know play).

Was extremely lucky last year and managed to grab 2 days at centre court. Managed to see lisicki v Serena, Murray twice, Laura robson, djockavich, ferrer to name a few. So this way of obtaining tickets does work. We got ours both times at the 12 release, no luck with the 9 ones x

When the tickets are available you will have the option to select how many you want, etc. Before then it should say "Tickets are unavailable", or a similar message.

Got 2 tickets for centre court tomorrow!

Do have to say though I am lucky/quick with these tickets tried a few times last year and got in every time (including both finals) tired Sunday and was successful as well.

Quick question does anyone know how many return tickets are available from ticketmaster? Never ever able to get return tickets so they must be like gold dust!

Hey Arsenal - I hope you have a great time tomorrow! Congratulations on getting tickets.

I imagine very, very few returns. How my friend managed to get a return to the Men's Singles final is beyond me, but I actually think she was sat in a seat that an employee of Wimbledon would usually have. The seat was THAT good.

I think mid-Championship is the best time to go for returns. People are more likely to keep early tickets (cheaper, more things to see around the grounds) and late tickets (more expensive, but more competitive matches/guaranteed to see big names). At the end of the first week and the start of the second I think chances for returns are greater as it's the sweet spot where the tickets are pricey but the games still aren't all that competitive, and less players on the courts practising.

Thanks looking forward to it!

I thought that there would be minimal returns they seems to be the hardest tickets to get!

Due to work I can only go 2 days a week so hopefully my luck is in Wednesday for Thursday CC tickets.

VERY VERY jealous of your friend!

Thanks for the info!
