Wimbledon is back and most people think that unless you have been succesfully in the public ballot or fancy paying over the odds for tickets that you don't have any chances unless you want to queue up stupidily early.

However on ticketmaster they sell tickets for the next days play on centre court, they go on sale at 9am the day before. So the tickets this morning were for tomorrow and the tickets on Monday will be for Tuesdays play.

According to last years deal they sell 500 centre court tickets each morning.

here is last years deal for Wimbledon.

Yep , works for me every year now......I have got tickets in the 9am slot before.

I tried the 12 oclock sale yesterday lunchtime but have never been lucky with that one in 3 years of trying. However it worked and I have 2 "return tickets for tomorrow" My mums bday is tomorrow and she loves wimbledon so I'm now the perfect son (for a day at least )
if nalbandian is playing watch out! lol
last years thread lazy link

Wimbledon 2011

and year before thats thread Wimbledon 2010

Both threads should answer any questions you have.

Here are some pro tips to increase your chances of gettin tickets:

1) sign up to ticketmaster NOW and fill in all of your details such as your address, your payment option (so you dont have to waste time doing it later.

2) start refreshing at around 8.58am and continue to do so until you get a page offering you tickets.

3) When people are offered tickets, they are given a certain amount of time to complete their order until their tickets are put back on offer to the public.......the time is something like 15minutes if i remember correctly therefore if you dont get any tickets within 5 minutes of trying DO NOT GIVE UP.......alot of tickets become available again at around 9:15am due to people not completing their order so keep refreshing!

4) Dont whine about this deal ruining your chances of getting a ticket, lots of HUKD members have benefitted from this deal in the past and will this year too.

Good luck all and have some heat op!
This is the sort of deal you wish people wouldn't share!!!

Can't say it's not HOT, but grrr for giving me extra competition for tickets OP!!
Didn't know about this so thanks very much kieth43!

To see Djokovic or Nadal play would be awesome!

Lol That was easy win for Marin Cilic youtube.com/wat…ted
Been trying since 9am with no joy... Had 2 tickets at 1 point but got an error message before moving to the payment screen. Gutted.
Cheers OP
Many thanks, out of interest, does it make much difference if you go for reserved seats or allocated on arrival?
Going to try get some for Tuesday tomorrow. Tsonga vs Hewitt and Murray vs Davydenko are most likely going to be on Center Court, so that's awesome for me. Will also try to get some for men's quarter-final day. Really hoping I get them!
Used this last year for the men's final. I got really decent seats about half of the way up in line with the net and was sitting 2 seats away from the girls of the Saturdays :D.

I would advise anyone obtaining tickets this way to get on the site proper early and keep refreshing your browser.
how do you know which match you will see?
Nice.

Would be grand if Rafa and Federer played on same day.

Vamos!

Saw Nadal and Murray last year on the Monday so will be intersting to see whether they want to put Murray on first day 2 years in a row. Particularly as he isnt playing that great!

Did you ask to be moved
You don't know what matches you'll see. But use the logic of:

Week 1:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday = Djokovic AND/OR Federer on Center Court. (2 Men's matches, 1 Women's match)

Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday = Nadal AND/OR Murray on Center Court. (2 Men's matches, 1 Women's match)

Week 2:
Monday = All players play this day, so will depend on matches (Murray will get CC and 3rd match) (2 Men's matches, 1 Women's match)

Tuesday = 2 Women's Quarter-Finals

Wednesday = 2 Men's Quarter-Finals (Murray will get CC and the 2nd QF)

Thursday = Both Women's Semi-Finals

Friday = Both Men's Semi-Finals (Murray will get the 2nd SF)

Saturday = Women's Final

Sunday = Men's Final

That's going with logic that Murray makes his 4th SF in a row at Wimbledon and all the top 4 make week 2.

The half with the defending champion starts on Monday. So in this case it's Djokovic's with Federer and Berdych. Other half with Nadal, Murray and Tsonga will play on Tuesday.

Djokovic first up, Federer later.

Bumper if you get it.
Hi all,

So when we get tickets for centre court which queue do you have to go to??

I assume you skip the huge long one? And go to the main entrance
does it really work... have been trying for 2-3 hrs now and always get this message "Sorry, no exact matches were found, but other tickets may still be available."

Read some people saying "keep refreshing the page" .. is this the one which needs to be refreshed till it shows some other message?

There is a separate queue for these tickets, as you have to show ID

The tickets have probably been sold as they've been live since this morning
what is best to go for?

Centre Court - Reserved Seat - Seats Allocated At the Time of Booking or Centre Court - Returns - Seats Allocated On Collection

and for this price are they in the tier at the back of the stadium?

I got 2 tickets for the Ladies final last year at £100 each plus booking fee using this method, I almost gave up as kept refreshing browser and nothing available, had a double take after about the 100th attempt and it showed 2 tickets available and I had 5 minutes to check out and buy them! Don't panic if you get to this stage, as you go through the booking process you get 5 mins at the start of each page. Moral of the story is keep trying, the website is very busy but the tickets are available, good luck to all. The seats are way back in the gods mind.
Hi all, i managed to grab a pair of tickets this morning for centre court for tomorrow so it does work.

They were sold out in next to no time though hence why you probably cannot find any now.

Unfortunately, my partner cannot attend so i will be going on my own so if anyone is genuinely interested drop me a PM and we can arrange to meet and i will get you in. Naturally wont charge a penny more than it cost me (£48.40)
Shhhh. The Ticketmaster tickets have got me into Wimbledon Centre Court every year since 2006, no ballot, no queuing. Just login, and press F5 at the right time. Don't tell anyone or they'll all want some

Managed to get 2 tickets for Tuesday at 12noon today, seats allocated on collection - hoping to get to Gate 4 nice and early as you can choose from what's available.
I went last year to centre court and tried again yesterday morning and got two more in my basket but gave them up as didn't know if I could get time off as I've got an important job next week. I will have a go again and get some for another day.
Does the price also apply for the semi and finals - will < 50 tickets be available the day before - if so Grt Deal - I mean even otherwise it is a Grt deal - but if they are giving out the more fancy matches - that would be Fantastic, right?

I didn't think they did it for the last 4 days but Ticketmaster has it listed so they will have a few!
Also, the price increases as the rounds progresses, the £48.40 is the standard centre court cost for days 1 and 2 of £44 plus £4.40 service charge. For the mens final i think it will be over £130 a ticket.
Damn whoever posted this It's not a bargain it just highlights it and makes everyone's chances slimmer of now getting a ticket...
Thanks op
Is it best to do :
Centre Court - Reserved Seat - Seats Allocated At the Time of Booking

or

Centre Court - Returns - Seats Allocated On Collection

??
Thanks
Good luck for everyone trying today. Next few rounds look pretty poor in terms of who the top players are playing so am going to give it a go today.
this might be obvious so apologise in advance for my stupidity, but you can only buy next days ticket not the ones in the future?
and as asked above which ones should be bought? reserved or returns? thanks
Centre Court - Reserved Seat - Seats Allocated At the Time of Booking = Day before 9am

Centre Court - Returns - Seats Allocated On Collection = 2 days before 12pm

If I'm not mistaken, tickets for the returns one seem a lot harder to get.

Got two in my basket now.
I keep getting:

Sorry, no exact matches were found, but other tickets may still be available.

Do I just keep refreshing that page? Or do I go back to the start?
