No stock for me

Great - if you can find local stock!

Nice find... reserved for me!

You may save money but they don't clean your windows very well, end up with loads of streaks,we don't have this exact one,but still,I imagine they are all much of a muchness.

Nice find ...perfect

Dont mean to rain on your parade, but I bought this and took it back. It is a piece of cheap tat.

As with many/most of Argos's reduced price goods, you have to wonder about the 'was' price -- when, if ever they were that price. This one notes near the bottom of the listing that: "* Please note item 8551207 has previously been on sale at £7.99."

Thanks..

I bought it when it was £7.99. It's not bad but the squeegee needs replacing for a more professional one. It only just reaches the top of the window on the 1st floor but it saves getting the ladder out!

The poles alone are about £35 if you buy the Unger one.

Which is why I clean them myself I'm too much of a skinflint to pay for a window cleaner.X)

Got one of these earlier this year. The plastic is not the strongest. Used once and it broke just below the sponge (part that fits over rod). Not impressed. Duck taped and made do. It may be a 'deal' but you get what you pay for. Cold.

great deal could use the pole on a paint roller as well

Also are doing something similar. Looks a lot more substantial!

Aldi??

Listen guys, don't waste your money on this cheap tat. Go to wintecs.co.uk (or any other specialist) and buy the right gear which will last for as long as you do and will give far better results in a fraction of the time

OOS at all my nearest stores But judging by some of the comments here it's just as well

No racial comments yet? They must be busy in the misc. Section.

IMO , most of the people do this window cleaning once a year. And even if this can do the job once , still its cheap. Heat !!

What a waste of time reserved and went to collect to be told there is no stock.

I'm getting one of these after recently telling the window cleaner to take a hike after he raised his charge to 10 quid. charging 10 quid for spending 15 minutes max for wiping a few windows with a dirty rag he was getting more per hour than a trained toolmaker.

most window cleaners have a round of punters and clean once a month which is seriously not needed- its a good money making racket for something totally unskilled though imo.

No one want to throw money for a service which they can do it themselves ,may be you are happy doing so. And your Aim of visiting HUKD? to showoff ?

You're missing the point. I'd rather pay someone £10 once a year to clean windows rather than spend around an hour dragging a ladder around the house, risking a broken neck, all to do it myself with horrible results. That's not showing off.

If you'd read the thread properly you would have seen Naith is a window cleaner so I very much doubt he pays anyone to clean his windows!

Also he gave advice on the best products to buy - I don't see him as a show off at all.

Non in stock nearby

Obviously at a different price point to the OP's deal, ( which looks to be OOS anyway now) if you want something that will be able to use for some years to come, and will do the job very well. Then I'd recommend this kit:

Once a month,it's every two weeks here, which makes me laugh as I bet most of them don't clean their windows inside every two weeks,so what's the point
