You can get it for FREE from Microsoft

i've got my windows 7 pro key that works fine if i ever need to re-install but this is worth a punt either way i think
Agreed.
Same as to find key for Volume Licenses on dedicated web sites and activate by phone...
You can get it for FREE from Microsoft
microsoft.com/en-…ade
If i buy this can i use it to have it install with clean windows on MacBook?
Assuming you've a qualifying version to upgrade from.
I've found sometimes you have to just let Windows updates run for awhile and do it's thing.
Alternatively I keep the update file for KB3213986, so straight after installing the latest version of Win 10 (1607), I run it and there's only minor updates left such as Windows Defender.
I'm not saying these keys won't work (at least for a while), but don't kid yourself that these keys are in any way legitimate.
in 29 days it connect to their servers and stop.
That's what PayPal is for
...and all the hassle of reinstallig windows, setting it up and installing all software. Unless disk image/baclup is done prior to using this key, still then all work is lost for the last 29 days
I think Paypal would not cover ebay online code purchase (please correct me if I am wrong, thanks)
I hate these keys as much as the next person, but this isn't what happens when it's deactivated. You simply have the ability to specify a new key. You don't need to reinstall anything, or lose anything. It literally asks you for one when it's deactivated.
This stands true for even regular, pirated copies - specify a new key are you're good to go. No disk image needed, although you're restricted in what you can do with the OS until you specify a valid key.
you may as well use a pirated copy as this is the same thing tbh but you need to pay for it
Just pirate it.
that could be why its called pro as opposed the standard.................
Windows 10 is a lot hotter on this, even my MSDN copy which is a legit VLK had connectivity issues after an update until I re-validated!
Regardless of this deal, your information on oem keys is wrong.
usa = oem keys need to be sold with hardware and can't be resold after
europe = oem keys can be resold without hardware and are not tied to motherboards. (that is why you can phone up and revalidate oem key)
Basically the courts in the usa went one way with interpretation of oem keys and europe went another. MS likes to make you think - that everyone lives in the states.
source (one of many as its the EU court of appeal) techdirt.com/art…tml
Quite possibly. I work for a large organization and one of the IT guys told me that none of product keys on our PCs are registered as they use a corporate licence and their own (trimmed down) version of windows. So I photographed one of the labels and tried it on a home build. Worked a charm.
It's not only that. A lot of companies still use Windows 7 and some even use Windows XP (shudder) but they will buy brand new machines with Windows 10 OEM licenses bundled and those W10 licenses then wind up never being used.
As far as I am aware, thats not the case. The rulling by the Europen Courts on software didn't include OEM software bundeled with hardware, it referred to the reselling of software bought as a product in itself. I believe the test case was brought against Oracle because it said in it's licence agreement that the software could not be sold.
The only legal way, in Europe, you can sell an OEM licence is with the original hardware and legally, that licence cannot be installed on other hardware.

just sat code not sent, can't be proved, so refund
once you install and setup, you skip activation and that's it.
There is a 'nag' screen, but it still works like it should.
not necessarily. OEM windows key can be valid based on recycled PC. as the software is only 18months old, it is highly doubtful that any 18 month old PC would be deemed as so worthless that the most you get out of it is to sell the OEM software it came with. so yes, probably a keygen job.
OEM are only intended for supply with a new PC,
If you have windows 7 or 8/8.1 then windows 10 upgrade is free and you will received the update notification through Windows updates
Just like Derek Duval said above, it's only FREE if you have a qualifying operating system to upgrade from, eg Win7 or Win8.
It's not a free upgrade if you have nothing to upgrade from.
Last time I installed windows I had a headache with updates, on other installs it was .NET framework missing. When I installed that on the last PC it sat there for ages. Eventually a day or two later it started to behave.
Real shame you don't know what you're talking about. But I insist, continue to spout your misinformation - like thieves, pirates and general scum of the earth need any form of justification for their actions.
I realised some time ago that morals go out the window when there is click through commissions to be made!
I particularly dislike the "mis-price go, go, go" posts that they make on Facebook and twitter. Some companies just can't afford the bill or the hassle of cancelling thousands of orders then dealing with the complaints.
