[FONT=Verdana]Perfect if you can get your hands on Windows 7 Professional (need that for a project I'm doing just now)! :-D

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

The price for Home Premium plus free keyboard and mouse looks like it's been inflated to £130 ... definately not a bargain ...

[FONT=Verdana]But it's the instore price, which does include VAT from what I can remember (it's only the website where VAT is not added on until the checkout) - I think I have one nearby where I stay so I'll see if I can pop in past to check it out tomorrow.

Also the OP has stated the price of £79.99p includes the hardware.

Bit misleading *any version*. Thought it meant Ultimate or Professional as well. But it just seems like Home Premium.

[FONT=Verdana]But is that confirmed, as it's not showing on their website but also I haven't seen any advertising for it either. :?

it is for any version of windows 7, ultimate and proffesional too, and instore only, not on the website, we got the deal info on our till code sheets yesterday

i just put the lowest price in the price field

Just guessing, I'd assume you get the keyboard set for free with any version of Windows 7, and the price given is just how much the cheapest version they sell is.

Um, weren't staples selling the desktop 3000 for £20 a couple of months ago? I'm sure I bught one for my mum there.

the laser desktop 3000 is diffrent from the other desktop 3000, dont know why microsoft had to use the same number for both

yes, laser desktop. Red box, laser mouse and wireless keyboard. £20 IIRC

are you telling me I could go into staples, buy windows 7 ULTIMATE and get a keyboard and mouse laser desktop for £79.98 ?

or have I misread this deal?

Couldn't see any sign of this deal in my local Staples. :?
