UPDATED even cheaper at £181 most of us paid £210-220 when last in stock, amazing deal for those who missed out last time.

PLEASE READ!!!!
I bought one a few days ago and waited to see condition before posting this, I put an offer of £205 and was accepted within minutes.
it also has a aluminum lid and a magnesium base, so no cheap plastic feel to it.

Battery life is over 5 hours too.

this i5 is one of the best scoring 3520 passmark points
compared to the other deal on here with the i5 540M thinkpad scoring 2382 passmark

Im very impressed so sharing.

Small screen

Hi the specs seem good.
How did you make an offer? The link, listing doesn't give the option to make an offer

This the equivalent of the Thinkpad X220 from the Dell Business line. It's an ultra portable, and a good price. Maybe not as strongly built as the Thinkpad but certainly not some plastic consumer junk.

This item comes with a 6 Month Return To Base Warranty which starts the moment you sign for your parcel.

Seems to be a solid seller, how long did it take to come?

Excellent portability.

Very hot deal. The cost price of these in a2 condition is usually over the £350 marker due to the processor and backlit keyboard alone

Just over 2 years ago, PC Advisor gave this 4/5 based on a price of £889!

Hot!

I have one of these at work.
Great laptop. Nice to use.

nice find op:) could you post some pics of lappy? how about windows sticker?

12" is just right. That's what she says anyway.

can you get replacement lids if they are beat up?

Good price, reasonable specs

Cheers, been looking at laptops for a while now, an this seems like an excellent price for the product. Just hope this one comes in decent condition. Thanks for posting.

Beat up? I think you're after hotusdeals.com.

these laptops are excellent and I only wish that I had got mine for that price

Anyone can tell me the weight?

Excellent portability.

As has a magnifying glass.

[sorry ;-) ]

Wishful thinking, but does this include MS Office?

Titchy screen

Thinking of installing a WWAN card, do I also need to run separate cable to the screen to receive 3G signal?

They weigh 1.65 Kg with the 6-cell battery. They really are superb laptops - I replaced all 3 kids laptops with these - they are fast especially with Windows 8.1. If you want to upgrade the hard drive you will need a 7mm drive. There is a slot to install a 3G modem such as the Dell 5560 card which is about £25. The screen isn't super bright but is matt finished so doesn't suffer from reflections. My only real complaint is the small size of the touchpad.

Used, with dents - nice

It comes with the extra aerial cables so just plug it in.

1.6kg according to the PC Advisor review linked above.

Heat from me: if portability is more important than screen size, but you need more power than a netbook, these are great.

Can only recommend them! I got e6320 almost 3 years ago and it's built to last! only issue I have is the low res screen. But on a 12" I don't suppose you can get much better. heat!

These ex-corporate E6220 laptops all seem to come with minor dents on the lid - I can only assume that people put their power adapters in a bag with the laptop and the pins on the UK plug bangs into the lid.

So, which is better. This or http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ibm-t410-intel-i5-2-67ghz-laptop-refurb-4gb-250gb-wi-fi-windows-7-free-32gb-pen-1813503 ?

anyone had a best offer price lower than £205 accepted?

....Well he doesn't seem to be accepting £205 anymore, the b**tard.

fack.... 64mb graphics

No, offered £200, £202, then £205 all declined automatically.
Now can't make another offer, fab!

The T410 is an older laptop with the previous Core i5 cpu so slower - it is also a 14" laptop so the Dell equivalent would be the E6320 or E6420.

£210 accepted

Declined at £205, 207, 208. Not that I need one.

Been after a small portable laptop (15" is too cumbersome) for travelling and this seems to fit the bill perfectly.

Great spec for the money, be hard pressed to find a Sandybridge architecture with 6 months warranty for this price elsewhere I reckon.

IT novice.....please can someone tell me how OS would be loaded (thinking external drive?) thanks v much
