Windproof Automatic Open/Close Folding Umbrella with Lifetime Guarantee £8.98 (Prime) Amazon (In Black, Red or Blue)

I usually only buy Fulton umbrellas - as they are well built and good quality. If you're not familiar with an auto-close umbrella, it basically breaks down the umbrella with a second button click. Super easy - and I hope im the only one, but im forever cutting my fingers on normal umbrellas. Exposed/sharp metal when sliding it down etc Or im just clumsy.

But Fultons are £20 and for £8.98 these have a lifetime guarantee! So more than happy to give one of these a go!

1st review says it turned inside out. I'm not rushing into buying it, I'm on the fence.

That's been my general experience with 'Windproof' umbrellas, they blow inside out easier but do no break so often when they do. I found the perfect solution many years ago, it's called a hood

Its usually a misconception - but all "Compact" umbrellas will go inside out in the wind with enough force. Its just the way the spines are set up.

The "Windproof'ness" of a compact umbrella means they wont break. I.e. It may pop inside out (some umbrellas have a greater tolerance for not doing this) but the proper cheap ones will break/snap their connectors so that when putting it back the right way - it'll be floppy.

I also disregard most reviews on umbrellas though, because people along the cost will get harsher winds than midland'ers like me.

I just need something to keep my dry from my car to the office!
is the lifetime guarantee with the seller or manufacturer?

Id imagine Manufacturer. It'll come with a Warranty Card with where to send it if the worst does happen.

Ive bought one, No Rush Delivery, so will be able to confirm in a few days (if the price holds, which I think it should - apologies, I have no access to CamelCamelCamel)
Actually scratch that - I *do* have CamelCamelCamel and apparantly its only been this price since the 18th.

Usually £14.

But were £7 for a day. Doh. Possibly a Lightning Deal/Daily Deal
Check out the reviews very carefully - most of them contain wording like this:

"I received this item at a discounted price in return for an honest and impartial review."

More and more fake reviews on Amazon these days.
This has arrived and im pleased. Its superb and a bit weightier than I thought it would be.

But not heavy... Just decent. Smooth action, held up well in the recent gusts.

Well impressed.
Sorry to bump an old thread but I would like to know if you are still happy with your purchase of this umbrella ? Thanks.

Indeed. Its a lovely little umbrella - and we've had some tropical storms recently!

It has flipped inside outside once - but I turned around and the wind popped it straight back (no damage to any of the spines etc).

Smooth as silk operation.

My one critique would be the central rod is actually pretty sharp - so when im putting it down, I have caught myself a couple of times. Its not sharp enough to break skin, but ive broke the surface a couple of times (if that makes sense).

May have been a fluke, but yeah - thats the only drawback.
ok I just bought one despite many 1 star reviews X)
