Windscribe Pro 3 Years VPN for £8.80 with code at Stacksocial

Use code 'MMSAVE' to get the price down to $12.37 (about £8.80 and was $22.49). Pretty sure this can be done not just with the 3-year option as well.

Previous code/thread for stacksocial/Windscribe expired so found this one. Not a bad price for a decent VPN with DNS protection for 3 years.

Stack Exchange gives you a coupon code, just enter the code on this page here and you'll get the three years pro.

I'd be interested to know this too
Best vpn for torrents is Nord vpn..
I did some tests recently with the free version of windscribe and privatevpn wbo I currently pay for.

Virgin defualt was 75mbs and was 74 with windscribe via firefox and 65 with privatevpn via their app.

Ping increased cannot remember original ping but upto 10 on privatevpn and 14 on windscribe. So no effect on download speed for me but higher ping as to be expected

i used both and still using windscribe, and i get better results with windscribe and its constant
I've been using the trial version (10GB per month allowance) of Windscribe and find on the tablet it works quick, but on the laptop it's very slow, not sure if the paid up version is better? Anyone shed any light?
So cheap I had to, hot damn!
I just tried the free allowance. I am on BT and get 70mb without Vpn. With this turned on I get anywhere between 15-35mb, I did it six times in quick succession!

Not sure whether to get this or not as I need a vpn. By comparison a freebie on android store (thunder Vpn) is getting between 15-25 mb.

Does this include the Windflix US option that on my current 60gb account is Upgrade only?

Could anyone confirm if this works with Netflix to get US content?

    Thanks

Your data may not be as private or protected as you think it is.

Windscribe is ok but not If you use the browser addins alone.

I've got this, it doesn't work on my laptop when trying to watch championship football, it still detects that I'm in the U.K. When the live content starts.
It lets me purchase the international stream but goes off when the football starts, also the same on my iPhone .
I ended up installing chrome hola vpn extension which works perfectly.
    Bought, thanks OP
Just extended my sub from June this year, to June 2021 with this, thanks OP
Cheers, just got this installed and Netflix US seems to be working perfectly!
I guess you can't port forward on this???
Is this good for Kodi on Android box?

If you mean how do you pay in USD to avoid paypal conversion charges, when in the paypal payment window, under where it says however much it is in GBP, there is an option for what to do in these cases. Obviously you have to have a card which doesn't charge conversion fees too.
So if I pay with pay via paypal from bank account (Santander) how much would I get charged via PayPal

If you have a fee free card eg Halifax clarity linked to your PayPal, there's an option during checkout in PayPal to use the card's currency conversion rather than PayPal's.

    ok thanks

If you haven't got one that doesn't charge, just set up a Revolut account and use that with PayPal, only takes a couple of minutes.
I wouldnt get it personally because it is part of the five eyes.

    Well....... thanks
I bought the lifetime option about a year ago now. It has been a good solid performer. Their windflix US works well and I'm able to watch Netflix US on my Nividia Shield. I've tried loads of them over the years and the ones that most people seem to talk about being good are Digibit and PIA. Not tried those though, so unable to comment.

I was with PIA for a while and so far windscribe is my favourite. I’ve tried hotspot shield as well but that’s probably the worst I’ve tried.
I'm very impressed, given all the stories of how slow vpns are I've never really bothered other than to access a few geo blocked sites. Just tried pushing my 50Gb/mth freebie account and it happily maxes out my 64Mb line so taken a punt on Pro for £3/yr to try it with my server.

Given the rate things change that'll do me for now.
Virgin 200mb this gets it to 39-60mb

Sid you should upgrade your router mate...or change your crappy equipment... with virgin i get (in speedtest not real download as this depends by many factors) around 220mbps on Virgin 200mb....if i activate Windscribe in router speed goes down to 180mbps but another extra 10ms ping (like somebody stated above). All vpn i tried have good and bad servers....i don't think is about selecting a vpn with higher speed as much as what server you select in each one.

I can recommend digit vpn very smooth when streaming but may get Windscribe also as more servers
