This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Windscribe is much more than a VPN. It’s a desktop application and browser extension that work in conjunction to protect your online privacy, unblock websites, and remove ads and trackers from your everyday browsing. With Windscribe, you’ll never mess with confusing settings and options menus again; just turn it on on your desktop once, and it’s good to go in the background forever. Apart from the easy-to-use interface, one of the biggest benefits of choosing Windscribe’s service is that it provides unlimited downloads and unlimited simultaneous connections. You’ll find that most VPNs limit you to a maximum of five devices (if that), making Windscribe’s offering a great choice for owners of multiple devices and small businesses alike. It’s also touted for its above average anonymity, including a strict no-logging policy and anonymous sign-up that doesn’t even require as much as an email address. Why the paid version over the free version? The paid version offers unlimited downloads and unlimited data — making it well worth the purchase. It’s no surprise that Canadian-based company, Windscribe, is one of the most recommended VPNs on the market — check out the reviews below for yourself.

  • Mask your physical location from 3rd parties w/ an encrypted tunnel
  • Access geo-locked content from anywhere
  • Use the Netflix browser extension to easily bypass geo-restrictions while streaming
  • Avoid most ads while you’re browsing
  • Torrent securely & share files w/o worrying about your ISP snooping on you
  • Use on all your devices simultaneously
  • Get protected by the top-notch firewall that protects you in case of connectivity loss
  • Sign up without an email address
  • Leave no trace or logs while you browse
Strict No Logging Policy!

I have used this vpn for a few years now. Previously used PureVPN and NordVpn.
I'd easily recommend them if ease of use and speed is your needs.

They have an easy to use browser extension and windows program.
Mine is on most of the time and I never noticed slow speeds.

I also have it on my android phone and it works great. It does drain battery though, but so do all other VPN apps.

If you want Netflix and other media from around the world then it works perfectly. I've never had any issues.

I curse the day I didn't get a lifetime subscription. I hope it comes back.

Pay with PayPal. I paid with a fee free credit card, and didn't notice this, but at the last second it added $7.20 of tax.

Can anyone recommend this as a VPN from their own use? Great price. Heat added.
Any idea about speed and reliabilty, especially for torrent download?
I have the free version. 20 GB a month. Does me for what I need it for.

It depends on your speed tbh. If its 100+ mb it will probably be slower. If its under it may be the same or even faster as many ISPs throttle them and this will bypass it.

I have Sky 76 mb and use the firefox Windscribe plugin to browse the torrent sites then download with deluge, using the proxy Windscribe supply for deluge (has to be the pro version of Windscribe to get the proxy). Normally my downloads are about 7 mb steadily.
Great deal heat added
Paid £38 for three years last week, so heat added. Early days, but got it on my iPad, iPhone, nvidia shield and fire stick. Have experienced some issues using it with real debrid, but that seems to be common for a lot of VPNs.
I have used this for a few weeks now and it's spot on. You can use it as a browser extension or as an application that you install and run and, when you connect, all the apps on your PC go out via their VPN. You can also configure it on your router if it supports it so that the router itself connects via Windscribe so anything on your home network goes out via Windscribe with no configuration needed.

Download speeds seem fine to me, you can also choose certain locations to spoof your location, IE is there is any US-only content just choose a US location. Simples. The only issue I've found is that you have to disconnect to use BBC Iplayer, they are very aggressive about blocking anything that looks like a VPN internet address.

Hi,does it work ok on the Nvidia shield?
I take it you just downloaded there app
I have this service, I managed to get the life time deal. You need to know it won't allow you to watch catch-up TV. Other than that this is great for me I have it setup to my gateway so all traffic goes through this. A number of routers support this and they have some good set-up docs on-line. My torrents see no difference with or without.
Does Netflix buffer a lot using Windscribe? Tried using SmartDNS to get American content, but had constant buffering. I'm on a 100Mb connection with Virgin.

How do you get Netflix to work? Why I try playing anything it detects I'm using a VPN and tells me to turn it off.

Select WINDFLIX Server...
Thanks for this OP. Had set up an alert for new deals.

I am keen on this but recent posts here have me questioning the whole VPN setup. Is it accurate to say that you're trusting them with your internet safety rather than your ISP? What are the risks with using VPNs?
I figure it's kinda like rooting your phone and running a custom ROM except that it's not open source and ownership/accountability is more limited.
Penny for your thoughts...
I pay £1.50 a month just for access to their US Windflix server and it works perfectly for US Netflix

Over 3 years that would be £54. Seems cheaper paying for this deal if you're going to use long term.

Do you get much buffering on Windflix server?
Edited by: "mario999" 17th Dec 2019
Oh by the way the Pro version is for unlimited devices.

You're correct and I will think about it. I only signed up to do this monthly recently (having given up years ago when Netflix first started their crackdown, and I also used to use the same smart DNS service for Hulu). Not sure I'll keep it long term though as I think UK Netflix isn't so bad these days. Also have Now TV and stuff which doesn't go on UK Netflix often goes on Sky/Now TV in UK anyway.
Another positive review for Windscribe here. Had it for well over 12 months and used daily without issue

Had Windscribe Pro since March 2018. No issues at all. Use it now for iPTV when there's an ISP block on and for switching to US Netflix.

Dropped on when there was a StackSocial code which reduced the 3 year sub to $13.50

Yes. It works perfectly on the Shield. Install the Windscribe app from the Playstore and away you go.
No side-loading needed.

Yes it will BUT if you have time left on your subscription wait for one of the lifetime deals which are much the same price, think there was one for BF but others do pop up during the year.
Can this be used in third world countries? My friend in Pakistan cant use Paypal or get UK TV etc as its government blocked. I have no knowledge of VPN's. Just wonder if I buy and send to them will it make their life easier?

Personally I only use the VPN for anything I don't really want my ISP to see. I do all my online banking and whatnot with the VPN off.
Also if anyone wants longer than 3 years the lifetime deal is currently 69 usd

Correction: Its sold out, my mistake!

Have you got a (obviously it will be a dead) link to that? Which site was it on and how much? I've been looking back at Windscribe deals using the search on here and seem to have missed it.
