WTF IZZIT THO ,WOTSIT DO

IN ENGLISH AND DON'T SHOUT! Please.

Heat OP. Been using the free version on my PC. Pages take slightly longer to load and pretty stable: have had the odd dropout but rare and quickly restores the connection.

Tempted by this, I have to admit.

Oh, and for Shouty Gaz, it hides the websites you are visiting from your Internet Service Provider (ISP), so it's a privacy tool. Also, if you connect via a server in another country you can access content that is normally only available in that country and not in the UK: Netflix is possibly the most common. You can also connect via a UK server, if you are abroad, to access UK only content, eg your TV service online.

Hope that helps.
I think GAZEMB was just showing his frustration at the Ops inability to describe what this is for, in the title. Putting VPN in the post would have helped a great deal.

Then a polite suggestion would have been the way to go, dare I suggest? Rather than a post that really adds nothing at all?

This is insanely cheap for 3 years of VPN... I've been using Windscribe for the past couple of weeks to redeem US digital movie codes and it's worked great, so very happy to pay for the upgrade.

Does this work well with Kodi add-ons?

iplayer from EU?

Not tried it myself but having read comments on other VPN threads it seems that some people have problems because BBC seem to block servers that they id with VPN traffic, whilst others succeed. Not sure it's VPN specific.

If this is likely to be a real issue for you I suggest having a trawl through some of the other Windscribe/VPN threads or search for relevant discussions on other fora, to get a more definitive answer.

Sorry I can't help more.

Again, not tried it myself but I believe so.

iplayer from EU?

It doesn’t work as the BBC does identify their servers.

As someone who uses Windscribe I’m very happy with it - not the fastest but cost effective and reliable. Also, yes it’s Five Eyes before anyone piped up.
CHeap deal as I recently paid £7 for a 1 year windscr
I have it when they gave 20gb free. Easy to use and very fast.
whilst the below offer has been cheaper, for £50 (or £45 with the 10% off code) you get a lifetime PRO account that last for 10 years, then they (Windscribe) renew your account again for another 10 years and so on...

Thanks OP
Great deal - recently went for the 1 year deal around 8 quid - speeds are good and can use US Netflix etc

I accessed iplayer content without any issues from Germany, Italy, Greece, Singapore and Malaysia between November and January.
Can someone kindly explain or provide a link for if/how this would work with an Amazon firestick as I can't seem to find one anywhere, many thanks.
I got this on the last deal, works a dream

Thats what I did. The Pro account has the advantage that it is unlimited devices from unlimited locations. I have it on all my Android STBs, my laptop and both my phones. Doing this means I can use it while travelling, and the rest of the household can still use it at home.

Easiest way to get VPN on any device is get yourself a router with VPN setup interface

They have an app for the firestick, all you need to do is download it and make sure you turn it on before starting any video app.
It won't give you US prime video, but it will work with Netflix. It also works really well with Tubi TV, which has a ton of decent movies and TV shows in the US version for free.
Been using NORDVPN before, this one seems on par if not better. However, costs a fraction

I use windscribe exclusively for streaming and it handles 1080p perfectly

I was wondering if it could be stacked. I got it when the last offer was on so ok til Dec 20. I might add this to it. Works ok on firestick and is pretty fast on P2P.
I'm a novice. Doesn't Opera Browser have it built in?
So to clarify, does this work for Netflix US on an android phone?
I close netflix
I select US on Winscribe
Open netflix (i can see US content) but then I get bounced out with a VPN warning.

Same with amazon video.

Am i missing a trick here or does this not work for netflix/amazon video?

You need to use Windflix server not the normal US VPN I think.

How did you manage that, as I’ve never got iPlayer to work while running Windscribe on any server? The BBC thing pops up saying you must be in the UK and takes you to a page explaining about VPN and location based access.

Windflix US works a charm for netflix. Thanks very much for the tip!

So erm what are the limitations
what is their logging policy like?
is this good for p2p sites, torrents etc ?
ok found this on their site
"What About P2P? Windscribe VPN allows P2P activity on all its VPN servers.

But that policy can change if a need arises."....
Edited by: "billy.bronco" 13th Mar
I use this too, its good for streaming US TV.
I signed up for a lifetime subscription for VPN Unlimited for £13 as my subscription with IP Vanish was about to end. So far it's doing its job. You can download the app on your Amazon Firestick and can stay connected even if you sleep the device - saves having you opening the app each time to connect like IP Vanish.

Also works with US Netflix unlike IP Vanish.

Good point.

But the OP's only £9 for 3 Year's is still excellent value for unlimited 'access' still?.

But fair play to the pair of you. :-)
