Not even remotely similar, CIV is turn based strategy where you build your empire up from nothing. The games you mention are real time combat.

I'm afraid i can't help as I haven't played any of them. However, compare gameplay videos (for example, the one I have posted in the description) for each game and see what you think.

Never played any civ games but played & loved stronghold, total war type games.. so is this anything like them ?

If the Steam title supports Steam Play (as Civ V does) then the key gives you access to all the platforms that the game supports on Steam. In this case Windows, OSX and Linux.

Yup. It's really peeved me off. They don't want to complete with EA but they want to stay afloat. They see micro transactions as the way to do that. Pathetic.

Worst pes I've ever played (I buy it for myclub mode), it really is a pay to win mess of a game now. They try to get you gambling for a limited chance of getting players, and haven't put much effort into adding actual game modes, it feels so dated. If you are only interested in offline it's mostly good, however. Konami are as lazy and greedy as EA in my opinion.

Game is awesome, it’s certainly not being slated for quality. It is sometimes hard to find online opponents, admittedly. Just a smaller playerbase. Plus a little Konami, heh

Any rubbish players want to play me? I gave up online as my ranking about 250 and it pairs me vs 750 people :(

online play is annually a disgrace on pc.

You need to have/create a Steam account and have the Steam client software installed. When you buy the game you will be given a license code which can be redeemed through the Steam software. Steam will then download and install the game for you.

Hi, I haven't used one of these download services before. I assume when you buy, you get a link to download the files? Do you then install them in the normal way or can anyone help explain the process for a novice? Thanks

Still prefer this to the newer Civs that have come out since.

I LOVED Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us (not on steam, doh!), and Borderlands. I've heard people complain that TellTale lost their edge when the original Walking Dead creators lef the studio, and that Game of Thrones was less popular, but I must admit, I'm tempted, just on the strenght of the other games.

This is a fantastic price, but beware of this game. There are known issues/bugs with it on PC that TT games have basically ignored. My kid played to the mines and hit a known bug, with the game then freezing and no longer working. New installs etc... have done nothing. a large number of pepole have experienced this. It's not a bad price. Not the greatest either. (If you don't mind waiting). But comparing it to the handsome jack collection for PS4 (which is £9.99 digital atm). I believe steam often discount BL bundles as well, but I can't recall their prices (believe it's around 8 bucks). For others who haven't touched borderlands before. I'd say get the 2nd game. I do like the presequal but it was over but you know it. Great talent system, I loved Athena's shield throw resurrection ability. But the lack of length and content over #2 really hurt this title.

I noticed is not as good as B2 however at this price I think is worthy. ;)

If I recall this season pass is crap compared to previous borderlands games. It's 2 new characters (jack and baroness), 1 arena wave based event and a small storyline pack. It was really disappointing seeing the lack of content compared to borderlands 2 additional DLC.

Been waiting for a good price on this for a long time also. Bought and downloading now.

Great spot, I've also been after this for myself & son, bought before from Wingamestore, no issues, heat added, many thanks!

Bought and working fine on U.K. steam

Notice This game is region locked and can’t be activated from Japan & North Korea. That’s what I can see on the page, so I would guess that it will activate fine. £10 was my jumping on point, so will try later today

Will this work on UK steam? As it says it's region locked.

The presequal had some good moments in it. Also they did an amazing job making the game feel like a team base RPG. Where talents would effect your party and having the ability to heal your team mates from afar if they were knocked down. But the story was short, and the open space levels were slightly mediocre. Hopefully they take these talent designs into borderlands 3. Athena was a blast to play as, and borderlands 2 just doesn't feel as good without those talents. (Bl2 > pre sequel for story and length).

Such a shame the prequel never lived upto the promise

Yes its a USA store but just give a fake ZIP code I used 90210 and its a very cheap price plus theres a few DLCs on sale to. (edit to zip code)

Was close to launch. A price glitch which isthereanydeal normally remove I think. I saw it on a few deal sites- not sure if it appeared here too

Thank you! I've been waiting for the Borderland: TPS season pass to drop to a reasonable price since the game originally came out (can't believe they thought £25 for 2 characters and 1 actual piece of story DLC was fair) so that's a definite purchase for me.

Never noticed this was a US site! The digital deluxe for Civ6 is a very good price too, at £25. They even have the Borderlands:TPS season pass for a bit over £5 (y) Bloomin' Games Republic... their stupid pricing error bugs the christ out of me when I'm using Isthereanydeal (they have half of Steam's stock listed at £1million for one tick about 2 years ago or something) If you're on the fence/waiting you could always watch someone else play, I'm a fan of Quill18 myself.

I'm still playing IV (:I
