If only I could migrate my Switch save file. :/

Cannot be bothered doing it all again. Or can I?
I had a similar attitude - played it to death on Switch at launch - but last week I started playing it again on Game Pass. No regrets, still incredible

So we get a DRM-Free GOG key and a Steam key?

    My favourite Metroidvania.

An absolute steal at this price. I've not found a game in the genre remotely close to this one. If anyone has recommendations - please fire them my way, the more niche the better as I already own a lot in this genre.

    Heat added!
I am also a huge metroidvania fan. I recently replayed Hollow Knight and bought the US version on PS4 so I could get the platinum again as the US version has a different trophy list.

I highly recommend Blasphemous, it has great gameplay, interesting enemies and bosses and is very atmospheric. It is a short game but it's all great stuff and doesn't outstay its welcome. I played it through twice when I got it and intend to play it again at some point.

I also really enjoyed the Guacamelee! games and Axiom Verge. I like Strider which got fairly so-so reviews but I thought it was cool. Other MVs I've played in recent years are Castlevania SotN, Bloodstained RotN, Yoku's Island Express and Momodora. I enjoyed them all as I like the genre but have pointed out the ones I thought were extra good. None are as good as Hollow Knight though. I also really enjoyed Salt and Sanctuary if that counts? I bought Iconoclasts but not played that yet and plan to get The Messenger at some point.

Any that you recommend that I haven't played? I am on PS4.

Such a great game . Was watching my son beat the 5th pantheon last night , might have to play it through again myself (although I will never be good enough for the pantheons)
Is this where you move up after each one is defeated? I can't do them all... Yet. Can the game be completed without this done? If so I feel like I've missed something somewhere.

How difficult is this game? I love the artwork but ive the hand eye response of a drunken monkey
I would say it's just right, not too easy, not really difficult. There are a couple of boss fights that will test you but a lot of the more difficult stuff is completely optional. There's a learning curve like any game but this is nothing like Salt and Sanctuary or Blasphemous.

I have this on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. One of the greatest games ever made. Great deal.

Soooooooooooo, I didn't take to this one at all. The world just felt so empty. Room after room of dead space. It was all just busy work to me towards the end.
I would loved to see the world map condensed by a 1/3 for a much tighter experience.
