NONE of thier london area hotels are included how rubbish is that !!

There are some offers on London hotels, depends on dates and location. You need to make sure you are searching for 2 consecutive nights.

i booked mine over 5 weeks ago, got the crowne plaza london city for feb. you have to pay the flexible rate but its still a good deal

Seem to have lots of choice. Thanks for heads up

This is an awesome deal! The 5* Holiday Inn in Sofia (Bulgaria) is included in this. Makes it 35 Euro a night for a weekend stay (2 nights). That is £18 a person, which is cheaper than many hostels in Sofia! That does not include breakfast, but does include access to the health suit, which is awesome (pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, gym etc). Hotel is a little out of town center, but taxi to centre comes in at around £4! Serious bargain!! (The 'standard' room rate for this place is 195 euro a night!!

Any of these hotels not horrible, based somewhere in the South and not in an industrial estate?

Fancy a trip to Portsmouth? Unfortunately the Express in Gunwharf Quays is not in the offer but you can stay in Holiday Inn on the other side of the old town for under £40 a night. Considering that a Travelodge room in a dodgy area of Portsmouth will cost £65 that is a decent deal. This Holiday Inn has a pool, gym & sauna.

There's always one :w00t:

The IHG group are always running promotions of one kind or another, but that shouldn't detract from how good these offers are. I've been taking advantage of the 35% off prepayed option for the last 6 or so months now (was posted on here a while back and still valid hotukdeals.com/ite…tal). Well worth checking out, it means that you don't get a refund if you cancel but the saving is substantial. We use the Holiday Inn Express in Gloucester regularly and book at the pre-paid rate of £35 (in breakfast). Really can't go wrong at that price (and no Pablotatt, it is not in an industrial estate!).

Also worth a mention is the Holiday Inn Priority Club membership. Well worth doing.

I'll second that.
It's worth getting Priority Club membership, then subscribing to the email offers (they never spam). Most of the deals don't end up on Hot Deals.

when is this deal on till? Dont know whether to risk booking before even booking my flight to finland.

You'll see that the first night is £94.00 (the standard room rate) but then the second night is £0.00. The £47 you mention is the average rate per night.

In what way is there better transport?

Theres a station in didsbury and a million and one buses in to the city centre, also loads of bars and restaurants in the area too.

All of the rates I've seen are for the room only ie no breakfast. If you add on the cost of breakfasts, this would come up to the normal rates, or am I just unlucky on the hotels I've been looking at?

Also, if you go via Quidco, how do you get this rate as it doesn't seem to be available via the QC link?

Its a bit hit and miss to me, tried to book in London over 2 nights including New Year's day, the cheapest of the cheap holiday inn (i.e. Brent Cross) comes to £179.00. It seems like they've increased their prices over this period so it doesn't ever work out 2 for 1. Great.

Love these deals.

Still valid, nice!

Still loving it!

Fantastic! 2 nights in london for £130!!!!!

Still works!

I am looking at booking a hotel in london for two nights the first weekend of May.

I know this is a bank holiday so didn't think it would give me the 2for1 but it came up with rates for the 2for1 as £75.00 but when I click on reserve the price is doubling up to £150.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated:)

Excellent deal - thank you

I stayed at Holiday Inn Preston over valentines weekend. It cost £65 and included breakfast both mornings and an evening meal (£18's worth each) I know Preston isnt the most romantic place in the world, we were going to watch Blackpool vs Preston (and they say romance is dead) :P
