Just come across this great offer for Knowsley Safari Park. Usually they offer £15 per car midweek (Monday - Friday) but now its officially winter, they close on Mondays and Tuesdays and are offering £15 per car with upto 7 people in for £15 from Wednesday til Sunday so you can take the kids at the weekend. I've tried to find an end date for the offer but it will only let me book up until New Years Eve this year then the pricing disappears so its on until at least the end of the year, possibly until 1st February when they start opening all week again.

Top tip - if you value your car's windscreeen wipers, trim and number plate, take the car friendly route through the baboons and park up and watch them strip the cars down with a smug look on your face - one of my favourite sports!

Lots of stuff to do after the safari drive too - they have a foot safari and you can see the giraffes, meerkats, bush dogs, elephants, hogs, bat cave, sea lion show and birds of prey too. The rides are re-opening on 25th November and you can get an unlimited ride wristband for the kids for £10 and one adult goes on with them free which saves you a bit too if you are demon for the dodgems like me!

You can book online or just turn up and still pay the same price. They have loads of deers there too so if we get some snow will be really magical for the little ones.

Thanks OP and if you are lucky one of the apes will rip your windscreen wipers off or your wing mirror, the staff have a good laugh when they hand them to you as you are driving out the compound. Read the small print before driving in LOL

But remember you do not have to drive through the monkey enclosure because there is a bypass route.
If you're in an old bangor though I definitely recommend driving through the enclosure just for the screams of laughter from everyone in the car as they watch the monkeys do a better job of dismantling the car than the chimps that work in Kwik fit.

When we went last week 2 of the lionesses were fighting over a number plate so not just the baboons to watch out for!

Love this comment!

Great post thanks emribina! It's in the diary!

I love the people in the big range rover all terrain 4x4s with "Adventure" scrawled over their spare tire who take the bypass route.
