Yes. This took me back 19 years when I used to rip DVDs and convert them to DivX/ Xvid
i do get fed up with heads posting their opinons when someone posts a deal, just vote hot or cold and move on to annoy someone else, and keep your opinions to yourself.

Some people really do think they are clever, when in fact they are morons
This product/deal appears on here often, I tried this product on one such offer, would not work, kept asking for activation number, followed all instructions, even emailed company, gave up in end.
Hope someone finds post useful, and gets to work ok, but I couldn't..
I ended up using 'handbrake' it's a bit geeky, took a bit of reading, but works really well, and was...is?...a free download.

Got the earlier version last time posted, is it worth the hassle of upgrading to this one?

On a serious note... Will this work for bluray ripping?

I actually ditched cds/dvds/bluray 8 years ago. I knew streaming and digital media was the future

I see what you did there - made a deliberatly moronic joke just to reinforce that welder299 is correct. Very clever (or not).

I drew attention to a spelling mistake because you took offence to what you perceived to be a snide comment and replied with a snide comment yourself.
I have made no assumptions about you. You give yourself an elevated sense of importance.

So because I replied in a snide way to a snide remark, you joined the bandwagon and added your snide comment by mocking my spelling. I think I am at Basecamp whilst you are unfurling your flag on the elevation front.
