Click on the 'about' button and it will show it is licensed using the supplied code. Hope this helps

Is it any better than Mac the ripper? on OSX?

Why does it convert a 4gb dvd into a10gb file thought it would just copy like120%.

Nice one.. selling my dvd's on here and may be able to copy them before they're gone!

Downloaded and installed, thanks op heat added

Thanks OP!!! A software that actually does rip a DVD without any problems!!!

cheers

Cheers dude

nice one cheers ..voted hotter

Like to see whether this software could handle ripping 'Up' dvd, DVD Decrypter and Shrink couldn't handle it. Only DVDFab was able to rip it.
I bought the Up blu-ray 4 disc set used and it didn't have the digital copy code slip, so made one myself from the DVD.

I may as well give it a try

Brilliant! Thanks

Brilliant andaccording to their website this can rip for the Ipad.

Fantastic. Been looking to get a new copy of this for a while to install on my laptop. Got my previous version for free from giveawayoftheday, so thanks for the post on this. You've made my day.

Because the file is heavily compressed when its written to a DVD. The standard file for DVDs (.vob) are very big, but show the file as it is on the DVD.

Great find. Heat added.

Did you download the full or trial version? Download the full version and then enter the code.

Out of interest, can this, or any other programme, rip Blu Rays?

Thanks

Cheers OP. Got this last time round that they gave it away but great to have the latest edition to by pass newer security measures.

Its nothing to do with compression, its a copyright feature having dummy files of the main film so its harder to find the correct file and or to trip up the dvd ripper software

I've only used the software for DVDs but DVDFab 8 has the option of copying, ripping etc blu-rays.
Its a shame I don't have a blu-ray drive to try it out.
