There is a link on the page for Mac if you look
I'm guessing this is for someone like me who has a cupboard full of DVDs that never get watched but aren't worth selling. Maybe if I back them up I can watch from tablet or smart tv without having to pay again for things like Nowtv or Netflix.
Where’s the link to actually download the software?

Thanks matey the blue small link I missed first time!
After downloading, and installing, according to the comparison chart, the free version does not seem to allow 'Rip newly released DVD movies with copy-protections'

Probably me being stupid, but I've just downloaded and installed this however to activate it needs an email address and the licence key to be keyed in. At no point was I asked for an email address so I cannot proceed - I did try a valid email address but it failed. What am I missing?
Thanks

Nope, it’s not

Did you sign up? enter email address correctly? Check junk email box? If yes, try signing up again. I just did it and it works great. You could try a different browser and a second email account also.

You don't need an account. Following the link in this post should give you a page with this on it. After that, it's a case of viewing your inbox/junk box.
39083781-x4JIb.jpgThe email they send contains the link to download the software. I'd try to use a different email address.
There is no email box appear when I click on the link, I do get the 'Left in Stock Today' info, and a 'Get it Free' box, but the route from the 'Get it Free' box gives no option to register without giving them £29.95.and I do not get an email from them as I have not had an option to give them my email address. Tried 2 browsers and it is the same.
I do not need the software at the moment, and I like a challenge, but after installing the 'free' software twice, and uninstalling it twice, they can keep it.

Appreciate your reply @friar_chris it didn't work for me with any of my three desktop browsers, just immediately started the download however from Chrome on my phone worked first time.

Many thanks

Worked for me. Clicked on Op's link, pressed download button. Software downloaded. Installed. Entered MY email address & licence code above. All done.
Is it worth downloading to an android smartphone/tablet or is it intended only for pc /laptop?
Why bother wasting your time ripping your dvd's when you could just do a quick search on a public torrent site and download it as no one will gain or lose from doing that instead as you already paid for them.

Plus the ripping community would of compressed the files to make them much smaller as well as cutting out all the crap like menus.

Some people can still be wary of downloading torrents though. It won't help with having to use a proxy for some of the torrent websites too as most of them are blocked.
us linux users have lots free anyway.
