love this for the price.. yeah you have to press any buttons for it to wake up but because its wireless, it saves battery (not always trying to connect)

my Max Speed is always accurate either (one in ten journeys) but for £7 this is brilliant

SNAP - same here. The magnet that screws onto the spokes is made of plastic, and upon tightening the thread stripped and will not stay in the correct position. Basiclly its cheap and rubbish quality. The only thing I can get to work is the time !!! lol

I had a raliegh one previously and if you stopped off at a shop for a few minutes and then carried on with your journey it would automatically start up,with this one you have to remember to press the button again.

managed to get a boardman one for £32 by working the halfords deal codes. worth checking out for.

Mine worked fine. Just put the magnet really close to the sensor

last lot they had in it wasn't clear if they could be changed from km to miles so u gave them a miss

can't work it out how to reset every time you start a journey. normally it just starts from the previous trip.

Not wireless though nor of a size that leaves much space for your hands X)

Cheap and rubbish. I got the other wired one from Aldi and it came in complete. Cheap buttons (which would expect from the price) but very tacky. They would not give me my money back as I didnt have a receipt.

Had a couple of these over the years ( they use to come with a heart rate detector, which never worked!), Ok but not the best quality, so don't expect years of use...

Oh - I thought it was just me. I can't get it to work either, it just doesn't seem to do what the instructions say it will.

Can't see the point of this, it will go our of range if you leave your own garden !

get a low range cateye one (eg chainreactioncycles.com/cat…194 ). yes it will be double the price, and only give you functions that you actually need. but it it still be working years after this aldi one has been binned.

I've been using one for about 10 years, so I'm not sure what you are doing with them!

Shame that's wired, as I like that. Need a wireless one or one with a longer lead for turbo trainer use

Video states: "auto stop and start".

I've had my one from Aldi for about 3 years and it still works fine.

It doesn't start automatically but it's not that hard to tap a button when you start a ride!

Save yourself £6.99 and avoid this pile of junk. Bought one for my bike. The plastic magnet spoke holder threads itself. It suffers from wireless interference from everything and will show you pedalling at 36 mph or so....when it's stationary in the shed, etc etc

I lost £6.99 and an hour of my time trying to get this cr&p to work, before introducing it to the bin.

Download Strava for your smartphone instead and it'll let you enjoy your rides afterwards.

I bought one from Aldi a few years ago it works well.I think its a matter of reading the instructions.

Mine didn't work with LED lights.

Bought one of these a few years ago and it worked fine in the daylight... But when used at night with any flashing LED light attached to the same handlebars and the sensor went crazy with the speed jumping around between 22 and 45 mph even when stationary and it stuck on 0 mph if the LED light was put on constant beam.

Just use strava on your phone. Far better and free.

When you have distance travelled displayed press and hold the left button to reset it to zero .
